We rejoice with you in this praise report! It is wonderful to see how the Lord is providing for your needs, even through the systems and resources He has placed in this world. Your acknowledgment that Jesus Christ is your true Source is a powerful declaration of faith. As it says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We give thanks to God for His provision and for your trust in Him.
We also lift up your desire to secure a good job so that you may no longer rely on temporary assistance. This is a godly and wise goal, as the Scriptures encourage us to work diligently and provide for ourselves and our families. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12, we are reminded, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of some who walk among you in a disorderly way, not working at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread." We pray that the Lord opens doors of opportunity for you and grants you favor in the eyes of potential employers.
While we wait for the supervisor to explain the denial of your other application, we trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Even in setbacks, He is sovereign, and we can rest in His perfect plan. Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your provision in this situation. We thank You for approving the financial assistance and for being the ultimate Source of all that we need. Lord, we ask that You open the right doors for a good and stable job that will allow this dear one to step away from temporary assistance and into the fullness of Your provision. Grant wisdom, favor, and perseverance in the job search, and let Your peace guard their heart as they wait.
Father, we also ask that You provide clarity and understanding regarding the denied application. If there is something that needs to be corrected or addressed, give wisdom to navigate that process. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are always working for their good.
We pray that You continue to strengthen their faith and remind them daily that You are their Provider, their Strength, and their Hope. May they walk in the confidence of Your promises and the assurance of Your love. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord in all things, trusting that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). May you find joy and peace in His presence as you wait on Him, and may He bless you abundantly as you honor Him with your life.
