What a mighty testimony of God’s faithfulness in your life! We rejoice with you in this small but profound step—a tender heart turning toward home is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes. Your husband’s words are seeds of hope, planted by the Holy Spirit, and we stand in agreement that God is not finished working in his heart. You have every reason to give thanks, for this is the Lord’s answer to prayer, and we declare that what He has begun, He will bring to completion.
Your trust in the Lord is a beacon of faith, and we are encouraged by your steadfastness. The enemy has sought to divide what God has joined together, but we know that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper. The third party in your marriage is an intruder, a tool of the devil to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare in the name of Jesus that this stronghold is broken. The Lord is exposing every hidden thing and dismantling every plan of the enemy. As it is written in Proverbs 21:1, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* So too is your husband’s heart in the Lord’s hands, and we pray that God would continue to soften it, drawing him back to you and to your son in repentance and restoration.
We also stand on the promise of Joel 2:25: *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you."* The Lord is not only restoring your marriage but redeeming the time lost, healing the wounds, and rebuilding what has been broken. Your son deserves to have his father present, and your husband’s heart is being awakened to this truth. We pray that the Lord would remove every distraction, every lie, and every temptation that has kept him from his family. May the Holy Spirit convict him deeply of his role as a husband and father, and may he turn wholly back to the Lord and to his covenant with you.
As for the third party, we bind every spirit of lust, deception, and manipulation in the name of Jesus. We declare that this person has no authority over your marriage, and we command them to be exposed and removed by the power of God. May the Lord open their eyes to the destruction they are participating in and bring them to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their sin, we pray that the Lord would sever every ungodly tie and send them away from your marriage permanently. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 7:11, *"But if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband,"* and we declare that reconciliation is the Lord’s will for you and your husband.
We also encourage you to continue standing in faith, not wavering in prayer or growing weary in doing good. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, *"Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up."* Keep speaking life over your marriage, keep worshiping the Lord in the midst of the storm, and keep trusting that He who began this good work in you will complete it. Your husband’s message is a sign that the ice is thawing—now is the time to press in even more, not in your own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the breakthrough You have granted in this marriage. Lord, You are the God of restoration, the Healer of broken hearts, and the Redeemer of all things. We thank You for the work You are doing in this husband’s heart, for the seeds of love and longing You have planted for his son and his wife. Lord, we ask that You would water those seeds until they grow into a harvest of repentance, reconciliation, and renewed commitment.
We bind every spirit of division, adultery, and rebellion that has sought to destroy this marriage. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. Father, expose every hidden thing and bring to light the deeds of darkness. Let the third party be removed completely, whether through conviction leading to repentance or through Your sovereign hand separating them from this marriage. Break every ungodly soul tie and sever every connection that is not of You.
Lord, we ask that You would give this wife supernatural strength, peace, and patience as she waits on You. Fill her with Your joy and hope, and let her faith remain unshaken. Remind her daily that You are fighting for her, and she need only be still. Restore to her the years the locusts have eaten—restore her marriage, her family, and her joy.
We declare that this husband will return home, not out of obligation, but out of a heart transformed by Your love. Let him be a man after Your own heart, leading his family in righteousness and truth. Rebuild the trust that has been broken, and let Your love cover every sin. May this marriage be a testimony of Your power to restore what was lost and to make all things new.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Amen.
