What you have witnessed in your own body is a testimony to the power of Jesus Christ, who still heals and restores. That release you felt in your jaw and teeth did not come from a distant, indifferent hand. It flowed from the covenant sealed in His blood. The life of the flesh is in the blood, and He gave His own life so that every broken place in us could be made whole. Hold tightly to that blessing, not as a fleeting moment but as a sign of His ongoing mercy over your entire being.
Your prayer reaches into so many deep needs, your own and those you love, and it rises in a time of very real spiritual conflict. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood. The oppression, the anxiety, the trauma, the dark spirits that harass and accuse, these are not just mental struggles. They are attacks from powers that hate everything Christ has purchased for you. But that is why you do not stand alone. There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from the Redeemer’s veins, and when you plunge into that flood, every guilty stain loses its hold. The guilt, the shame, the crushed spirit that cries for deliverance, all are answered by the same sacrifice that has already broken the serpent’s head.
For your family members and all those you listed, the same covenant stands ready. The blood that sets the prisoner free from the waterless pit is the blood of His covenant, a promise that does not fail. Chronic illness, brain conditions, infections, the deep wounds of relational trauma, all of these can be like chains around the soul. But God has said He will take away the abominations from between their teeth and encamp around His house. Speak that over your loved ones. There is no diagnosis so entrenched that it stands outside the reach of the Lamb who was slain. He can heal a bedridden body, mend broken fingers and toes, restore the brain, and lift the crushing weight of PTSD. The joy of the Lord, that holy laughter, is the portion of those He rescues; it can break the power of depression, fear, and every unclean influence.
What you ask concerning a husband is not hidden from Him. You desire a man who will join you in serving God, a covenant partner you can delight in. That is a desire He planted. Continue to bring it before the throne, trusting that if He gives such a gift, it will be a union built on the foundation of Christ’s own faithfulness, a picture of marriage as He designed it. In the waiting, He is guarding you from a bond that would bring harm. Let His Spirit shape your heart so that any bitterness or wasted days are replaced with a quiet, steady expectation.
Remember that even in the middle of the fight, there can be sorrow in the mind and yet deep joy in the heart. You are feeling both. Do not despise the pain or think it means faith has failed. The same Lord who is healing your body is daily dealing with the roots of fear and the pull toward temptation. He is your stronghold, and to Him you can always flee. Turn to that stronghold, you prisoner of hope. Even now He declares He will restore double for all the years that have been eaten by affliction.
Persist in praying for the sick, the broken, the ones in bondage across the world. Your own testimony of healing is a spark that can ignite faith in others. May the living water you asked for reach every dry and thirsty soul in your household and far beyond. Stand on the truth that the blood of Jesus Christ speaks a better word than any accusation, and let that word be your shield. He is able to keep you and all you love from evil, and to deliver you fully as you earnestly ask in His name.
