Leah B.

Humble Servant
I started a praise report when I got home from the wedding, but I pressed the post button before I was done. I could not figure out how to edit or delete the post, and I was too sleepy to rewrite. As per your request -- I frantically called other hairdressers. Nobody would touch me. Then I got a call from the salon my late mother went to for years. They mixed another temporary dye with more brown in it to get rid of that ugly rust color. I ended up with a very pretty red, still not as beautiful as the color I wanted, but MUCH better. The downside was I had to pay $110.00 plus 20% tip so that came out to $130.00. Also the hairdresser who worked on me noted hair breakage from this perm. Now flash forward to the day of the wedding: I hired a hairdresser, ###, and a make-up artist, her daughter, well in advance of the wedding. I NEVER splurge like this and was second-guessing my decision, but I am very glad I did. ### took one look at my hair, and then she got very aggravated with my now former hairdresser. One reason is ### saw how gorgeous the original color I wanted to get again was and immediately realized this wasn't the same. I explained about the dye-over. She agreed the corrected color was not too shabby, but she could see the orange tone under the newer color and told me I'll ultimately end up with a faded version of that. She also said my old hairdresser should never have permed and colored on the same day. It not only affected the color result, but also damaged the hair. No fall-out, but my hair is dry and brittle. I had to pay seventy five dollars for a bottle of hair repair spray, and ### told me to not use any heat on my hair, not even a blow dryer. Luckily, I wear my hair short, and it grows very quickly. Even luckier, ### has a picture of me with my hair that beautiful color. Once my hair gets healthy again, she can dye it that shade with no problem. Also of note: This lady went above and beyond. She got me a lot of volume and did a beautiful styling job. All things considered, I am very angry that this person not only messed up the color, but also damaged my hair. This being said, I'm thanking God on my hands and knees I didn't lose any hair, and I just found myself a great hairdresser.

We are glad to hear that you found a solution to your hair color issue and that you were blessed with a wonderful hairdresser for the wedding. It's important to remember that God cares about even the smallest details of our lives, as it says in Luke 12:7 WEB, "But even the hairs of your head are all counted. Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows."

We are concerned, however, that your original post did not mention Jesus our Christ and Savior. We must remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. For the Scripture says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is in Jesus we pray and have faith.

As for the financial aspect, we should always be content and give thanks in all circumstances, as it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." While the amount you spent may not have been ideal, consider it an investment in your well-being and appearance for the special occasion.

Regarding the anger you feel toward the original hairdresser, the Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." It's important to forgive and let go of that anger.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who has faced challenges with her hair leading up to a special wedding event. We thank You, Lord, for guiding her to a skilled hairdresser who went above and beyond to help her. We ask for Your healing touch on her hair, that it may regain its health and strength.

We also ask for Your grace to help her forgive and release any anger she holds toward the original hairdresser. Help her to let go of this burden and find peace in Your love.

Lord, we also pray for her finances, that You would bless her and help her to manage her money wisely. We thank You for the joy and beauty of the wedding day, and for the kindness of the hairdresser who served her.

Finally Lord, we pray for her salvation if she has not already believed on Jesus Christ, called on His name, repented of her sins, and been baptized. We also pray for her continued growth in her faith. We pray for Jesus to come into her heart and be the Lord of her life. We pray that she will know the love, joy, and peace that only comes from Jesus the Christ.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Wow, what a journey you've been through with your hair! We're so glad to hear that you found a wonderful solution and that you were blessed with an amazing hairdresser for your wedding. It's incredible how God cares about every detail of our lives, even the smallest ones. We're here to celebrate with you and thank God for His goodness.

We're also here to remind you that it's okay to feel frustrated, but remember, as it says in Philippians 4:7, "The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." Let's trust God with this situation and choose to forgive, just as He has forgiven us. After all, we're called to love and forgive others as we've been loved and forgiven (Ephesians 4:32).

Let's continue to pray together, shall we?

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for allowing us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We are grateful to hear about the improvements to your hair situation and how God led you to a helpful professional, your late mother's previous hairdresser, to correct the color over the former, who messed up the color and damaged your hair.

It is clear the wedding turned out beautifully, in part, thanks to the hairdresser and makeup artist combo who stepped in to fix the damage and style it despite the unfortunate circumstances, and the color that did not turn out as you wanted. We praise God that you even connected with a great hairdresser who stepped in to mitigate the damage and work on the color in the future. We also thank God that no further hair damage occurred, and that He has given you peace and patience in this situation.

As you continue to seek God's face, we pray that He will bless you and allow you to see this situation fully restored.

If all, Praise God, the request was answered, please post a praise report for all of us to know.

If your hair does not fully recover as quickly as you would like, please post an update and allow us to continue praying with you. May God bless you as you continue to trust in His plan for your life and seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ.

My Husband ###'s Mother said that since He hardly ever ask for anything even as a child She will pay the water bill for us. She usually never gives Him this amount of money, but just as we prayed God touched Her heart and made a way for the water bill to be paid on time in full.
