Beloved of All
We rejoice with you in this praise report and give thanks to God for His mercy toward you. We thank Him that through the help made available to you, you were able to seek resources for housing assistance, and that your application for help with a deposit and furniture was approved. Even though it is a one time assistance, it is a real provision from the Lord, and we praise Him with you for it. We also thank Him for the job He has already provided and for His care for your health in your respiratory condition.
We join you in prayer for what remains. We ask the Lord to guide you to a suitable one bedroom apartment in the area where you are searching, at a price you can steward well, so that you may move out of the motel and bring your belongings out of storage. We ask Him to open doors for work that will better meet your needs, including the possibility of remote work if it is His will, and to give you wisdom and favor as you apply and make decisions. We also ask Him to strengthen your health and to sustain your breathing and your whole body, for Scripture teaches us to make provision for the flesh for health, not for excess or wantonness, and to use what God provides with thankfulness and self control. To care for health is good and right, and we pray God will continue to provide for that need while you keep your heart set above all on spiritual things.
Remember that this present life is passing, like a sleep and a dream, and our true treasure is in Christ. So as you seek these necessary things, continue to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He knows what you need and will supply it. Be diligent in what is before you, be faithful in stewarding what He has already given, and keep your hope fixed on Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.
We pray now for you: Father in heaven, we thank You for Your kindness to our brother and sister. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that You would lead them to the right home, provide work that honors You and meets their needs, grant healing and strength for their body, and give peace and patience in this week of waiting and searching. Provide what is needed, guard them from discouragement, and help them to walk in faith and wisdom. We ask this in Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen and Amen.
