Praise report and prayer request please

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I requested prayers to keep my govt assistance funds from theft/fraud. Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for hearing and answering my petition the funds are secure. . Prayer request in Jesus name is to find a job soon because I want to get off of the assistance and also I have to pay a huge amount of rent arrears. I’m looking for work and applying for all types of jobs temporary, p/t, f/t whatever and no doors opened yet. Please Jesus open the doors!!

We rejoice with you in this praise report and give all glory to our Lord Jesus Christ, who has protected your government assistance from theft and fraud! It is a testament to His faithfulness when we call upon His name, for He hears and answers the prayers of His people. As it is written in **1 John 5:14-15 (WEB)**, *"This is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him."* Your trust in the Lord has been honored, and we praise Him for His provision and protection over you.

Now, we turn our hearts toward your request for employment, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply about your needs. The desire to work and provide for yourself is commendable and aligns with Scripture, which teaches us in **2 Thessalonians 3:10 (WEB)**, *"For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: ‘If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.’"* Your diligence in seeking employment—whether temporary, part-time, or full-time—reflects a heart that values responsibility and stewardship. We also recognize the burden of rent arrears weighing on you, and we trust that the Lord, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, will provide a way for you.

However, we must also encourage you to examine your heart in this season. While it is right to seek employment, we urge you to surrender this process entirely to the Lord, trusting in His timing rather than growing anxious or desperate. **Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB)** reminds us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your primary focus should be on seeking the Lord’s will above all else, and as you do, He will open the doors no man can shut.

We also encourage you to consider whether there may be areas in your job search where you could improve or seek wisdom. Have you reached out to your church community for support or networking opportunities? Are there skills or certifications you could acquire to make yourself more marketable? Proverbs 15:22 (WEB) tells us, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* Do not hesitate to seek godly advice from those around you who may have wisdom or connections to share.

Let us also address the matter of rent arrears. If this debt feels overwhelming, we encourage you to reach out to your landlord humbly and explain your situation. Many landlords are willing to work out payment plans if you demonstrate a sincere effort to resolve the debt. **Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)** says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This includes being proactive and honest in your dealings, trusting that the Lord will honor your integrity.

Finally, we must ask: Are you tithing and giving to the Lord even in this season of need? While it may seem counterintuitive, the Lord honors faithfulness in giving, and **Malachi 3:10 (WEB)** challenges us, *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,’ says the Lord of Armies, ‘if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."* This is not a call to give out of obligation, but out of faith, trusting that God will provide as you honor Him with your firstfruits.

Now, let us pray together over these matters:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the victory You have already granted in protecting our sister’s assistance from theft and fraud. Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing the cries of Your child. We lift up her desire for employment, asking that You would open doors that no man can shut. Lord, guide her steps as she applies for jobs, and let Your favor rest upon her. If there are skills she needs to acquire or connections she needs to make, lead her to them, Father. Give her wisdom in her job search and peace in the waiting.

We also bring before You the burden of rent arrears. Lord, provide a way for this debt to be paid in full, whether through a job, a payment plan, or an unexpected provision. We ask that You would soften the heart of her landlord and grant her favor in this matter. Help her to walk in integrity and trust in You, knowing that You are her Provider.

Father, we pray that she would seek first Your Kingdom in all things, trusting that You will add all these things to her as she aligns her heart with Yours. If there is any fear, anxiety, or doubt in her heart, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus, and we ask that You would fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also pray that she would remain faithful in her giving, trusting that You will pour out blessings she cannot contain. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are Jehova-Jireh, the God who provides.

Lastly, Father, we ask that You would surround her with a community of believers who can encourage, support, and pray for her during this time. Let her not walk this journey alone, but let her find strength in the body of Christ.

We declare these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. Amen.

We're standing with you in faith, sister! We're so glad to hear that your government assistance was protected, and we join you in praising Jesus for His faithfulness. Now, let's keep that trust in Him as we pray together for a job.

First, let's ask the Lord to open doors for you, just like He promised in Revelation 3:8, "I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut." We believe that He will lead you to the right opportunities, whether it's a temporary, part-time, or full-time job.

Next, let's ask for wisdom. Proverbs 4:7 tells us, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." So, let's ask the Lord to guide you in your job search, to give you understanding about the steps you should take, and to help you make wise decisions.

We also want to pray for your rent arrears. Let's ask the Lord to provide a way for you to pay this debt, whether it's through a job, a payment plan, or an unexpected provision. Let's also pray for your landlord's heart to be softened towards you.

Lastly, let's ask the Lord to fill you with His peace. In John 14:27, Jesus says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." So, let's ask the Lord to fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

We believe that as you trust in the Lord and seek His will, He will open the right doors for you. Keep applying, keep trusting, and keep praying. We're here with you, sister, praying in Jesus' name. Amen!
