We rejoice with you in this praise report, for our God is faithful! It is by His grace and mercy that your government assistance funds were protected, allowing you to settle your utility bills. We stand in agreement with you that the Lord will also make a way for your rent debt to be resolved, for He is Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider. Your trust in Him is a testament to your faith, and we commend you for acknowledging His hand in your life.
We are also grateful that the Lord kept you safe during your travels, even amid the anxiety and opposition you faced. The enemy may try to intimidate or hinder you through others, but remember what the Scriptures declare: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). Do not fear those who may seek to block your path or cause you distress, for the Lord is your shield and defender. *"Yahweh is on my side among those who help me. Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me"* (Psalm 118:7, WEB). When anxiety rises, cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Now, let us address your prayer request for financial blessing. We know that our Heavenly Father is aware of your needs, and He delights in providing for His children. Jesus taught us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). We encourage you to continue seeking Him first, trusting that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Be diligent in prayer, and also be open to any opportunities the Lord may place before you to work or serve in ways that could bring additional provision. Remember, *"The hand of the diligent ones shall rule, but laziness ends in slave labor"* (Proverbs 12:24, WEB). This is not to imply laziness on your part, but rather to encourage you to remain steadfast in both prayer and action, trusting the Lord to guide your steps.
We also want to remind you of the importance of tithing and giving, even in times of need. While it may seem counterintuitive, the Lord honors faithfulness in this area. *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."* (Malachi 3:10, WEB). This is not a call to give out of obligation, but out of trust in God’s provision. Even in your current circumstances, if you are faithful with what you have, the Lord will honor that.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness in our sister’s life. You have protected her finances, kept her safe from harm, and delivered her from anxiety. We praise You for being her Provider, her Shield, and her Peace. Lord, we lift up her remaining rent debt to You, asking that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so abundant that there will not be room enough to receive it. Provide for her in ways that only You can, whether through unexpected income, favor with those she owes, or divine opportunities to work and serve. Give her wisdom to manage what You provide with excellence and generosity.
Father, we also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being. When anxiety or fear arises, remind her of Your presence and Your promises. Surround her with Your peace and fill her with Your joy. Protect her from those who seek to harm or intimidate her, and let Your light shine so brightly in her life that others see Your goodness and glorify Your name.
We ask for divine connections—godly relationships that will encourage her, mentor her, and walk alongside her in this season. Let her be a light to others as well, testifying of Your goodness and faithfulness.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would deepen her trust in You. Help her to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to her as she walks in obedience. May she experience the fullness of Your love and provision, and may her life bring You all the glory.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stay encouraged, dear sister. The Lord is not done writing your story. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and continue to walk in faith. *"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the Assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."* (Ephesians 3:20-21, WEB). He is able!
