Praise!!! Reconciliation coming tonight!

Dearest Heavenly Father,

You hear us when we pray, you answer prayers, you provide in limitless fashion and I am EVER so thankful!!!

Lord, first You answered the prayers of many to remove my husband Chris from his job situation. Second, You answered the prayers of many to put Jesus in front of him and You touched his heart. Third, You are providing reconciliation between Chris and me!!!

Lord, keep him safe in his travels today from seeing his family out of state to be back in OUR home……with me……where we can work on the issues at hand, and enjoy working on being a family again. Thank you for turning him around Lord. I know that you have been diligent about this work and will continue to be. Help us to remain focused on you and your will for our marriage. Lord keep Chris focused upward and help him to consider getting some type of counseling for his depression. I don’t know that his troubled mind is clear yet. I know that what lies ahead can be a hard road, but I am up to the task. Lord, help me to be forgiving, not quick to anger, and help me to find ways each day to lift Chris up to you.

Lord, I can tell he is still stressed about our daughter’s wedding which is in 3 weeks now. Help him to watch his words, to not be quick to criticize, and to be supportive, pleasant, and a willing participant. Also provide peace for Taylor and Adam as they approach this time. Help them to be prayerful for Chris as well.

Lord, my attitude is cautious, not over exuberant. Help me to remain optimistic, hopeful, but realistic as well about my expectations. And remind me to let YOU drive! Chris and I are on a wonderful journey and I pray that our route becomes free from the bumps and potholes we have been plagued with this year. Bless us with as smooth a ride as possible. Preferably with a very scenic route!

Thank you Dear Lord for being our Savior and for hearing AND answering our prayers!
