Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today with hearts full of praise and gratitude. We thank you for your goodness, faithfulness, and love that never fails. You are worthy of all honor and praise, and we exalt your holy name.
As we lift our voices in worship, we acknowledge that you are the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Your name is above every name, and there is none like you. We declare that you are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
We thank you for the privilege of prayer, for the opportunity to come before your throne and pour out our hearts to you. We recognize that you are our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in times of trouble. We lean not on our own understanding but trust in your perfect plan for our lives.
Father, we pray that your kingdom would come and your will be done in our lives and in the world around us. Help us to seek first your kingdom and righteousness, knowing that as we do, all other things will be added unto us. Give us the desires of our hearts as we delight ourselves in you.
We ask for the strength and courage to lean on you alone, not relying on the temporary things of this world. May our trust be in you, our rock and our salvation. Help us to go to you with all our needs, knowing that you hear our prayers and are faithful to answer.
We thank you for the privilege of being like Jesus, bearing the names of your people on our hearts and shoulders. Use us as vessels of your love and grace, that we may be true helpers to ministers and a blessing to those around us.
Finally, we pray for a spirit of thankfulness in our prayers. Help us to always approach you with gratitude, knowing that you are the giver of every good and perfect gift. May our prayers be filled with thanksgiving as we make our requests known to you.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
