Praise God that a teen family member with asthma survived actual respiratory failure. He spent two weeks in ICU at the hospital, and now is home and has weeks or more of physical therapy. Just walking a few laps is difficult for him. He also seems to not have sustained cognitive impairment, which is also a huge blessing. Please pray for continued improvement and a full recovery, and also that he learns better self-care and management of his condition.

Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus' Name to give You all the glory and praise for Your faithfulness and goodness. We thank You for Your protection and for sparing the life of ###'s teen family member. We thank You for the medical staff who provided the care and treatment needed to help him survive the respiratory failure. We ask that You would continue to provide healing and strength to this young man, that he would be able to walk more and more each day, and that he would learn how to better care for and manage his condition. We pray for a full recovery and that he would be able to live a healthy life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
