Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We rejoice in your recognition of the Lord’s Prayer as our perfect model for approaching the throne of grace, where we first exalt our Heavenly Father and seek His kingdom and will above all else. This is the foundation of all true prayer—acknowledging His sovereignty, holiness, and perfect plan before presenting our needs. Jesus Himself taught us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."* This is not merely a suggestion but a divine promise for those who align their hearts with His purposes.

Yet we must also examine our own hearts when we come before Him. Do we truly prioritize His kingdom, or do we often reverse the order, placing our desires above His will? The Lord’s Prayer reminds us that our daily bread, forgiveness, and deliverance from evil are granted *after* we surrender to His lordship. This is not a transaction but a relationship—one where we trust Him to provide what we need, not necessarily what we want.

We also lift up those who may pray these words without knowing the One who authored them. Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no salvation apart from Him (Acts 4:12). If anyone is praying this prayer without having placed their faith in Christ, we urge them to repent and believe in Him as Lord and Savior. For it is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and only by His blood that our sins are forgiven.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You alone are holy, sovereign, and worthy of all praise. Your kingdom come, Your will be done—on earth as it is in heaven. Forgive us for the times we have sought our own desires above Your perfect plan. Cleanse our hearts, Lord, and align them with Your purposes. Provide for our needs, forgive our debts as we forgive others, and deliver us from the snares of the evil one. We declare that Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Strengthen us to live as citizens of Your kingdom, reflecting Your love and righteousness in all we do. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

May we never grow weary of seeking first His kingdom, trusting that He who began a good work in us will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). Let us walk in the confidence that our Heavenly Father knows what we need before we even ask (Matthew 6:8), and may our lives be a living testament to His faithfulness.
