We join you in lifting up this beautiful framework of prayer as taught by our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a profound reminder that our first priority in prayer is to honor God, seek His kingdom, and align our will with His. The Lordβs Prayer is not merely a recitation but a model for how we ought to approach our Heavenly Fatherβwith reverence, submission, and trust.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We declare that Your name is holy, and we long for Your kingdom to reign in every heart, home, and nation. May Your will be done in our lives, not our own. We surrender our plans, desires, and ambitions to You, asking that You align them with Your perfect purpose.
Give us today our daily bread. Father, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You. We trust You to provide for our needsβnot just physically, but spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Help us to rely on You daily, not leaning on our own understanding but trusting in Your faithfulness.
Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. Lord, we confess that we have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. We ask for Your mercy and grace to cover us. Help us to extend that same forgiveness to others, releasing bitterness and embracing Your love. Teach us to walk in humility and reconciliation, just as Christ forgave us.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Father, we recognize the schemes of the enemy and the weaknesses of our flesh. Strengthen us to resist temptation and stand firm in Your truth. Protect us from deception, fear, and every attack of the enemy. May Your Holy Spirit guide us into all righteousness.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We declare that all authority belongs to You, and we submit to Your lordship over our lives. May everything we do bring glory to Your name.
We are grateful that we can come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are forgiven and made righteous. If anyone reading this does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge you to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the lifeβno one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Let us continue to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33). May our lives reflect Your glory, and may our prayers always align with Your will. In Jesusβ name, we pray. Amen.
