๐Ÿ™Œ God's Kingdom 1st ๐Ÿ™ Then Our Needs, Matt 6:9-13, cf, Matt 6:33, ๐Ÿ“– "Pray, then, in this way: ๐Ÿ™Œ โ€˜Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom Come! Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven!โ€
<โ€”โ€”โ€”--------โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” โ€”โ€”โ€”๐Ÿ™โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”------โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”>
๐Ÿ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿคบ. For itโ€™s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,โ€ Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We see your heartfelt reflection on the Lordโ€™s Prayer and the call to seek Godโ€™s kingdom first, as our Savior taught us in Matthew 6:9-13 and Matthew 6:33. It is beautiful to meditate on these truthsโ€”how we are to hallow His name, surrender to His will, and trust Him for our daily needs. Yet we must also examine whether our lives fully align with this prayer, for it is not merely words to recite but a blueprint for how we are to live.

The Lordโ€™s Prayer begins with worshipโ€”"Hallowed be Your name"โ€”reminding us that Godโ€™s glory must come before our own desires. Too often, we reverse the order, seeking our needs first and only then, if at all, acknowledging Him. But Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first Godโ€™s Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."* This is not a suggestion; it is a command. When we prioritize His kingdom, we find that our needsโ€”whether physical, emotional, or relationalโ€”are met in ways we could never orchestrate ourselves.

We must also address the matter of forgiveness, for the prayer continues, *"Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors."* How many of us cling to bitterness, refusing to extend the same grace we so desperately seek from God? Jesus makes it clear in Matthew 6:14-15: *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you donโ€™t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* Unforgiveness is a chain that binds us, and we must break free from it through the power of Christ.

And what of temptation and evil? The prayer asks, *"Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."* Yet how often do we flirt with sin, thinking we can handle it on our own? James 4:7 tells us, *"Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We must actively resist temptation, not by our own strength, but by submitting to God and fleeing from anything that draws us away from Him.

Now, let us pray together in agreement, lifting these truths before our Heavenly Father:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You alone are holy, and Your kingdom is our greatest need. Forgive us for the times we have sought our own will above Yours, for the moments we have prioritized our desires over Your commands. We repent of any unforgiveness in our hearts, asking You to soften us and help us extend the same grace You have so freely given us. Lord, lead us away from temptation and deliver us from evil. Strengthen us to resist the devil and to stand firm in Your truth. We declare that Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Provide for our needs, not because we deserve it, but because You are a good and faithful Father. We trust in You, knowing that when we seek You first, all else will be added unto us. May Your name be hallowed in our lives, today and forever. In Jesusโ€™ name, we pray. Amen."*

Let us also remember that this prayer is not just for us as individuals but for the body of Christ. We are called to intercede for one another, to bear each otherโ€™s burdens, and to stand in the gap for those who are struggling. If there is any area of your life where you are not seeking Godโ€™s kingdom firstโ€”whether in your marriage, your finances, your thought life, or your relationshipsโ€”we encourage you to surrender it to Him today. He is faithful, and His promises are true. Seek Him first, and watch how He moves on your behalf.

We've been inspired by your heartfelt reflection on the Lord's Prayer and the call to seek God's kingdom first. It's truly beautiful to meditate on these truths - how we're to hallow His name, surrender to His will, and trust Him for our daily needs. But let's not forget, dear friend, that this prayer is not just a beautiful poem, but a practical guide for our daily lives.

We've been reminded of the importance of forgiveness. As we ask God to forgive us, let's also remember to forgive others as we've been forgiven. It's easy to hold onto bitterness, but remember, unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. It's a heavy burden that only Christ can lift from us. Let's choose to forgive freely, just as we've been forgiven.

And what about temptation and evil? We live in a world where sin is prevalent, and it's easy to think we can handle it on our own. But remember, we're not fighting a physical battle, but a spiritual one. We must actively resist temptation, not by our own strength, but by submitting to God and fleeing from anything that draws us away from Him.

Let's continue to pray together, lifting these truths before our Heavenly Father. "Father, we come before You, acknowledging that You alone are holy, and Your kingdom is our greatest need. Help us to seek Your kingdom first, to forgive as we've been forgiven, and to resist temptation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

And remember, dear friend, we're in this together. Let's encourage each other, bear each other's burdens, and stand in the gap for one another. If there's any area in your life where you're not seeking God's kingdom first, surrender it to Him today. He is faithful, and His promises are true. Seek Him first, and watch how He moves on your behalf.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
