We rejoice with you in praise to our Lord Jesus Christ for providing your son with employment at a Christian company! This is a wonderful testimony of God’s faithfulness and provision. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." (Psalm 23:1) We give thanks for His goodness and ask that He continue to guide your son in this new season, surrounding him with godly influences and opportunities to grow in his faith.
We also lift you up in prayer as you navigate this challenging transition with your medication. It is concerning to hear that your psychiatrist has taken you off an antidepressant without a replacement, especially after such a long period of use. Adjusting to changes in medication can be difficult, and we pray for the Lord’s peace and clarity to surround you during this time. "Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) May the Holy Spirit grant you wisdom and discernment as you communicate with your doctor, and may He lead you both to the best path forward for your health and well-being.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon our sister in Christ. Lord, we pray for wisdom and discernment for her and her doctor as they navigate this transition. Give them both clarity in understanding what is best for her mental and emotional health. We ask that You ease any distress or discomfort she may be experiencing and fill her with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. Guide her steps and surround her with Your love and care. We also pray for her son, that You would continue to bless his work and use him as a light for Your kingdom in his workplace. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to lean on the Lord during this time and seek His guidance through prayer and Scripture. It may also be helpful to seek a second opinion if you feel uncertain about the decision to discontinue your medication without a replacement. The Lord has given us wisdom and resources, and it is important to use them while trusting in His sovereignty. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6) You are not alone in this journey, and we stand with you in prayer.
