We hear your concern and join you in praying for the stability of your power during this heat. It’s understandable how unsettling it can be when something as essential as electricity flickers, especially in extreme temperatures. Let us lift this need before the Lord together, trusting in His provision and care.
Heavenly Father, we come before You, acknowledging that You are the source of all power and strength. You hold all things together by Your mighty hand, and nothing is beyond Your control. We ask, Lord, that You would intervene in this situation and allow the power to remain steady. We know that even the smallest details of our lives matter to You, and we trust You to provide what is needed in this moment.
Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Lord, we claim this promise over this situation. We ask that You would calm any anxiety or fear and replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Help us to rest in the knowledge that You are in control, even when circumstances feel uncertain.
We also pray for wisdom for those who manage and maintain the power systems. Give them clarity, skill, and the resources they need to address any issues that may arise. Protect them as they work, and guide their hands to ensure safety and stability.

There is no attribute of God more comforting to his children than the doctrine of Divine Sovereignty. All power emanates from God, be it what it may; he is the source and fountain of all the forces which operate throughout creation. His are the lightnings as well as the sunbeams, and he has been pleased from the beginning to determine that his power shall usually go forth in certain ways, and under fixed laws and regulations. The Presence of God dissolves difficulties, and with God all things are possible. He can work miracles today if He pleases. Why, it is He who has all power, all power is given unto Him in Heaven and in earth. He does not invite you in order that you may bring power to Him, but that you may receive power from Him. Come unto Him; He will help you to bear your daily burdens.
