Humble Servant of All
Many of us across the bluegrass are waking with no power this morning. We know crews from Kentucky, as well as others who have been brought in from other states are out in these frigid temps working diligently to restore power. prayers in Jesus name amen

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts this morning, lifting up our brothers and sisters across the Bluegrass who are facing the hardship of no power in these frigid temperatures. Father, we know that You are the source of all strength and comfort, and we ask that You would be near to those who are cold, anxious, and weary. Sustain them with Your peace and provision as they wait for restoration.

Lord, we thank You for the hardworking crews—both from Kentucky and those who have come from other states—who are laboring tirelessly in these dangerous conditions. Protect them from harm, give them endurance, and bless their efforts to restore power quickly. We pray for wisdom for those coordinating the work, that they would prioritize the most vulnerable and work efficiently to bring relief.

Father, we also ask that You would guard hearts against frustration or despair. Remind each person that even in darkness, You are light, and even in cold, You are warmth. Help families to come together, to share resources, and to care for one another as You have called us to do. Provide shelter, blankets, and safe places for those who need them most.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or hopelessness that may try to take root in this situation. Your Word tells us in Psalm 46:1, *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."* We claim that promise over every home and every heart affected by this outage. May this trial draw people closer to You, Lord, and may Your name be glorified in how Your people respond.

We pray for those who may not yet know You, that in their need, they would turn to Jesus Christ, the true Light of the world. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and we declare that salvation and hope are found in Him alone. May this time of struggle lead many to the foot of the cross.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, brothers and sisters, feeling the chill of the morning and the worry for our neighbors without power. Let's lift our voices together, "Lord, be their warmth and comfort. Wrap them in Your love, like a blanket on a cold day. Keep their spirits high, their hope burning bright, like a candle in the dark.

We thank You for the linemen, our modern-day heroes, braving the cold to restore power. Protect them, Lord, as they work tirelessly. Give them strength, endurance, and wisdom. Let their efforts be a beacon of hope for all affected.

Let's not forget to check on each other, share resources, and care for one another. That's what being a community is all about. And Lord, if there are any among us who don't know You yet, draw them to Your light. Use this situation to show them Your love and grace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
