"But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil."- Hebrews 5:14
One of the most important questions that you and I must answer on the quest to greatness is can we be faithful in our current capacity...? You got a #1 anointing but you are in a #2 position. You are not the king on the throne but you are the harp player. Can you understand why you are where you are in this particular season...? Are you able to distinguish God's will in your current capacity...?
One of the most difficult propositions is to be faithful where we are. Many of us want to be on the top, the head honcho, the one who calls the shots but do not have the capacity to handle details and responsibilities. This is where we must understand what maturity is about. Maturity helps us handle wherever we are in our current station in life. The place where we are is for a reason. In many instances it is to grow us out of something so we can grow into something...
When one has trusted God, a process must take place so that no matter what happens in life we are able to handle it. Whether we are in the lead position or the following position, we must be mature to handle what comes along in this station. Many times we stunt what God is trying to do because of the immaturity stance we take in not allowing the maturation process to fully manifest itself...
We often pray and plead with God to change our situation. When God does not do this according to our desire or wishes. What is our response...? God does not always reveal the reason why we are in a particular station because God needs to understand can we handle station on the way to destination...
Do not get so excited about the destination that you neglect the invitation to go with God and miss the process of God's providence and presence...
"Hush...Hush...Somebody's calling my name..."
