Good Morning Family,
"But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit - just as it has taught you, remain in him." - 1 John 2:27
This upcoming Sunday the most watched sporting event will take place. The Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers will participate in Super Bowl 43 for the coveted Lombardi Trophy. Thousands of people have traveled to Tampa, Florida to be a part of the week long festivities. Some have traveled to be a part of the pageantry while others have congregated to witness the game that is to be played. In order for one to see the game at Raymond James Stadium, an authentic ticket must be displayed...
Super Bowl officials are warning officials to be on guard against counterfeit tickets. Counterfeit tickets are not the real tickets and will not be honored at the gate. Imposter's are selling counterfeit tickets in order to make a dollar at the expense of people who may be desperate or just do not know the difference. When one is desperate or unaware they can be coerced into believing or buying anything...
Beloved, we are often unaware of the the false teaching that is being displayed by those who are trying to lead believers astray for personal gain or achievement. We are reminded to be on guard and watchful. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is real not counterfeit. It guides us into all truth. The truth revealed to us will give us the power to live a victorious life in Christ...
The anointing of the Holy Spirit is not so much to give you a new house, a new car, a husband or wife, or for us to experience so much financial prosperity that we get beside our self...
I am so reminded of what the Apostle Paul writes..."I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead...(Philippians 3:10-11)."
When you shout today, shout over the cross at Calvary, it gives us the power to live a resurrected life in Christ...
"They hung him high...They stretched him wide...He hung his head...for me he died...That's love...That is not how the story ends...On the 3rd day he rose again...That's love..."
