"The Lord who delivered me for the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." - 1 Samuel 17:37
Life has a tendency to get the best of us. No matter how long we live, we will experience some setbacks. This is par for the course. We all face insurmountable odds each and everyday. Often times the odds seem stacked against us and there seems to be no way we can avoid the obstacles in front of us. If we do not confront the challenges that we face, we will shrink each and every time danger rear its head...
At some point in our life, we must take a stand. Well, somebody may say, "You don't know the trouble that is in front of me." You are right, but you can face it and here is how...Rehearse your victories...!!!
That's right, beloved rehearse your victories. David explains to us in this passage that he is about to face an unknown battle and a giant named Goliath. While the soldiers were shrinking from their responsibilities and possibilities. David confronted what other feared with faith. He simply recounted and rehearsed the victories that God had performed in his life. This gave him the confidence to face what was coming next. David understood that his power came from a God who provided everything that he needed.
Today, know that nothing is too hard for God and while you are contemplating over your troubles or overwhelming situations. Know that you have experienced victories over situations you never thought were possible. Rehearse today in how far you have made it and what you have came through...
Now proclaim, that the best is yet to come...!!!
"Victory is mine...Victory is mine...Victory today is mine..."
