Good Morning Family,
“When Saul realized hat the Lord was with David and that his daughter Michal loved David, Saul became still more afraid of him, and he remained his enemy the rest of his days.†– 1 Samuel 18:28-29
One way your character will be shaped is opposition from enemies. When you are placed in the crucible of the furnace do not be in such a rush to get out – Some people will come against you because of what you stand for – Some people will come against you because of who you are and what you represent – Some people will come against you because they envy you – Some people will come against you because they are just unhappy with themselves…
There is not too much you can do to counter that. Your focus has to be on consistently loving and consistently serving. David grants us an example of staying focus not on his enemies but his God. If David for one moment plays the get back game at Saul, he loses being refined in the process. This was part of the reason why he experienced what he did…
Part of your maturity evaluation will be how you handle those who mean you no good and how you respond to the critics. If you try to answer everybody your time is ill spent. Just stand for the truth, walk in integrity and do not compromise any of this for popularity…
