"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus." - Philippians 2:5
It was the Rev. Jesse Jackson who once said, "that your attitude will determine you altitude." In other words, our attitude has much to say about the progression in life. Our attitude will also help us deal with the adversity that we may face in our journey. It can be easy to peruse the faces around us and believe that everyone has a positive attitude. This is far from the case...
There are far too many people who have not learned how to overcome negativity...
Negativity will prevent us from fulfilling our life's calling...
Negativity will prevent us from living by and moving in faith...
Negativity will prevent us from staying the course on the vision that has been granted to us...
Negativity will prevent us from staying above the fray by the detractors...
Negativity will prevent us from hearing God's voice in clarity and truth...
If we always look for the negative we will miss out on God's best. How can we overcome negativity and a bad attitude?...Simple...
Have the mind and attitude of Christ. This is an attitude of gratitude, humility, self-sacrificing service and love. This attitude will grant us the peace and joy we need to live a purposeful life. Zig Ziglar puts it like this, "We need a check up from the neck up."
When our attitude is in alignment we can celebrate for others when they experience the blessings of a Sovereign God...
