As we climb what is known as the ladder of success. We may find ourselves trying to compromise our beliefs, integrity and values. All is well as long as we are on the bottom of the rung but as soon as we climb much more is going to be expected of us. Be careful of wanting a certain title or position because more will be expected of you...
We cannot forget those who helped us to get where we are. We did not make it on our own merit alone. There have been people brighter than we are but who did not have the opportunity. They made the sacrifice to ensure that others behind them would have the open door opportunity. They placed their own desires aside to help someone else reach greatness...
God elevates us so that we can help another...God blesses us so that we can bless another...God forgives us so that we can forgive another...
Do not forget where one has come from for ultimately it is by grace that we have arrived where we stand now...
"If I can just help somebody along life's way...then my living will not be in vain..."
