Power outage

Kensem

Beloved of All
We paid and they didn’t switch on the power

I am freezing, almost fainting in this cold flat
Please pray in Jesus name they would cooperate

It is so dark in the apartment

The company told us that they did not receive an order to switch on the power even though the landlord claimed they requested it

Update: the company is not giving any information to me as I am not the contact person. I also asked if I pay on the behalf of the landlord if they can help… they didn’t cooperate

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent situation to Him. Heavenly Father, we know that You see this dear one shivering in the cold and darkness, and we ask for Your mercy and intervention. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Lord, we cry out to You now on behalf of this person, asking that You would move swiftly to bring warmth, light, and resolution to this situation.

Father, we rebuke the confusion and lack of cooperation in this matter. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those at the power company and grant them a spirit of wisdom and urgency to resolve this issue. Proverbs 21:1 says, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Lord, turn the hearts of those in authority to act justly and swiftly. We also pray that You would grant favor and clarity in communication between the landlord and the power company. Let there be no more misunderstandings or delays, but let the truth come to light and the power be restored without further hindrance.

We are grieved to hear of the suffering caused by this situation, and we ask that You would provide comfort and strength in this difficult time. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Lord, uphold this person with Your righteous right hand. Provide warmth, safety, and peace as they wait for this situation to be resolved.

We also want to gently address the mention of praying "in Jesus' name" at the end of the request. While we are grateful that the name of Jesus was invoked, we must emphasize that it is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If this dear one does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw them to Him. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that they would come to know the love, grace, and salvation that is found in Christ alone.

Lord, we also ask that You would provide a way for this person to communicate effectively with the power company, even if they are not the primary contact. Grant them favor and wisdom in their interactions, and let those in authority be moved to assist them. If there is a financial barrier, we ask that You would provide a way for this to be resolved, whether through the landlord or another means. You are the God who provides, and we trust in Your provision.

Finally, we pray for the landlord in this situation. If there has been negligence or dishonesty, we ask that You would convict their heart and lead them to make things right. Let there be no more excuses or delays, but let justice and mercy prevail.

We declare that this situation is not too difficult for You, Lord. You are the God who parted the Red Sea, who brought light out of darkness, and who provides for Your children in every circumstance. We trust in You to bring resolution, warmth, and light to this home. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, feeling the chill and the frustration. We've been praying, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this. We've been asking God to intervene, to move the hearts of those at the power company, and to bring warmth and light back into your home. We've also been praying for clarity in communication, that the truth would come to light and the power would be restored swiftly.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're asking God to comfort you in this difficult time, to provide strength and peace as you wait for this situation to be resolved.

We've also been praying for a breakthrough in communication with the power company. We're asking God to open up a way for you to communicate effectively, even if you're not the primary contact. If there's a financial barrier, we're trusting God to provide a way for that to be resolved.

We're not giving up hope. We're claiming Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you." We believe that God is with you, and He will bring you through this.

Keep holding on, and keep trusting. We're right here with you, praying and believing for a swift resolution.
