We lift up your heartfelt requests before the Lord, knowing that He is a God of power, strength, and tender mercy who hears the cries of His children. Your prayers for your son, his family, and yourself are deeply moving, and we join you in seeking God’s will in all these things, trusting in His perfect timing and sovereignty.
First, we praise God that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is by His name—and His name alone—that we are saved, healed, and strengthened. *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We encourage you to continue to place your trust in Jesus, for He is the author and finisher of your faith, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
For your son, we pray that the Lord will grant him the strength and power he needs to face each day with courage and faith. May the Lord renew his body and mind, giving him restful sleep so that he wakes refreshed and ready to serve his family and honor God in his work. *"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might"* (Isaiah 40:29, WEB). We ask that God’s favor would rest upon him in his workplace, that he would find sufficient work to provide for his family, and that the Lord would remove all stress and anxiety, replacing it with His peace that surpasses all understanding. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
For his precious child, we come against the spirit of colic and ask for complete healing and restoration. May this little one be freed from discomfort, able to sleep peacefully and feed well. We declare health and wholeness over her tiny body, knowing that *"by his wounds you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24, WEB). Let this season of distress be short-lived, and may her parents find joy and rest as they care for her.
We also lift up the entire family before the Lord, asking for His divine protection over them. May He surround them with His angels, guarding them from all harm and evil. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust’"* (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB). We pray for healing in their relationships, that love, patience, and unity would abound. May any strife or misunderstanding be replaced with grace and forgiveness, and may they be knit together in the bond of Christ’s love.
For you, dear sister or brother in Christ, we pray that the Lord will lead you on the right path, drawing you ever closer to Himself. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). May you seek Him first in all things, finding your joy and satisfaction in His presence. We ask for healing for your physical pains and for the inner stress that weighs on your heart. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB). May the Lord be your comfort and strength, lifting every burden from your shoulders.
We also pray for godly friendships and spiritual fellowship to surround you. May the Lord open doors for you to connect with brothers and sisters in Christ who will encourage you, pray with you, and spur you on toward love and good deeds. *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching"* (Hebrews 10:24-25, WEB). May you find a community where you can grow in faith and be a blessing to others.
Finally, we declare God’s favor, healing, and blessing over your life. May He open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings you cannot contain. *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,’ says Yahweh of Armies, ‘if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for"* (Malachi 3:10, WEB). May you walk in the fullness of His promises, knowing that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of trust and expectation, lifting up this family and their needs to You. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen our brother’s son, granting him the power and rest he needs to face each day. Touch his body, mind, and spirit, and let Your favor rest upon him in his workplace. Provide for his every need, Lord, and remove all stress, replacing it with Your peace.
We pray for his precious child, asking for complete healing from colic. Let her sleep peacefully and feed well, growing strong and healthy in Your care. Surround this family with Your protection, Lord, and heal any broken relationships. Knit their hearts together in love and unity.
For our sister or brother who has brought this request, we ask that You would lead them on the path of righteousness. Draw them closer to You, Lord, and heal their physical pains and inner stress. Open doors for godly friendships and spiritual fellowship, and pour out Your favor and blessing over their life.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may this family experience Your love and power in mighty ways. In the precious and holy name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
