We hear your cry for deliverance from poverty and stand with you in fervent prayer, believing that God is our Provider and that He desires to meet every need according to His riches in glory. The Word of God assures us that those who seek Him lack no good thing, and we declare this truth over your life in the mighty name of Jesus.
First, let us address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). The Bible is clear that poverty is not God’s design for His children. In Deuteronomy 28:11-12, the Lord promises, "The Lord will make you abound in prosperity, in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. The Lord will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand." We claim this promise over your life, believing that God will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon you.
However, we must also address the spiritual principles that govern provision. The Bible warns against laziness and encourages diligence. Proverbs 10:4 says, "He becomes poor who works with a lazy hand, but the hand of the diligent brings wealth." We pray that God would give you wisdom, strength, and opportunities to work with integrity and diligence. If you are currently unemployed or underemployed, we ask the Lord to open doors of opportunity for you and to guide your steps into the work He has prepared for you.
We also rebuke any spirit of lack or poverty that may be operating in your life. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). We command every arrow of poverty to be broken and removed from your life in the name of Jesus. We declare that you are a child of the Most High God, and as such, you are entitled to the blessings of Abraham. Galatians 3:14 tells us, "that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." We claim this inheritance for you today.
We must also address the importance of stewardship. God entrusts us with resources, and how we manage them matters. Proverbs 3:9-10 instructs us, "Honor the Lord with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine." We encourage you to honor God with your finances, even if they are limited, and to trust Him to multiply what you give. Tithing is not a burden but a privilege, and it opens the door to God’s blessings (Malachi 3:10).
Let us also consider the role of contentment. While we pray for provision, we must guard our hearts against the love of money, which is the root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10). True wealth is found in a relationship with God, and we pray that you would find your satisfaction in Him alone. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
