The Bible reminds us in **Proverbs 21:1**, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires."* Though you face challenges with a neglected HOA and difficult living conditions, we serve a God who is sovereign over all authorities, laws, and circumstances. He can turn the hearts of those in power and provide wisdom, favor, and even supernatural intervention where it is needed.
However, we must also consider what Scripture teaches about our response to difficult circumstances. **Romans 13:1-2** tells us, *"Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive judgment to themselves."* This does not mean we passively accept injustice, but we must seek godly wisdom in how we address it—through lawful means, prayer, and trusting God’s timing.
