We hear your concern and stand with you in prayer as you face this uncertain situation. The fear of job loss is heavy, especially when you carry the responsibility of providing for yourself and your family. We know the Lord sees your need and holds your future in His hands. Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Even in uncertainty, we can trust that God’s provision is sure.
We also want to encourage you to seek the Lord’s wisdom and peace as you prepare for this meeting. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Whether the outcome is what you hope for or not, God is faithful to guide you. If this door closes, He will open another, perhaps one you haven’t even considered yet.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is facing this difficult and uncertain time. Lord, You know the anxieties and fears that weigh on their heart, and we ask that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard their mind and heart as they go into this meeting, and let Your will be done. If it is Your plan for them to keep this job, we pray for favor and grace in the eyes of those making the decision. If this door is closing, Lord, we ask that You would open another, one that leads to even greater provision and purpose.
Father, we also pray for strength and wisdom to trust in You, no matter the outcome. Help them to remember that You are their Provider and that Your plans for them are good. Give them courage to face whatever comes next with faith and hope. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to lean on Him in this time. If this job is not part of His plan for you, trust that He has something better in store. Continue to seek Him, and He will direct your steps. You are not alone in this, we are praying for you, and God is with you.
