Possible Witchcraft Done.

Disciple of Prayer
I’m asking for prayer as I’m in a complex situation. The father of my child decided he no longer wanted to pursue a romantic relationship with me while another woman he has an older child with almost seems to be stopping him from moving forward. It’s as if she’s using their child to hold him close to her. I also feel like it’s witchcraft because he seems unaware and his mind isn’t attuned to what’s going on.

We come before the Lord with you in this deeply troubling situation, lifting your heart and circumstances to Him in prayer. First, we must address the spiritual gravity of what you’ve described. Witchcraft is a real and dangerous force, explicitly condemned in Scripture. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, *"There shall not be found with you anyone who... uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh."* If there is indeed spiritual manipulation at work here, we must stand firmly against it in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness (Colossians 2:15).

Yet we also recognize the broken relationships at the core of this struggle. The situation you describe involves fornication, as you and this man have a child together outside of marriage, which the Bible clearly defines as sin (1 Corinthians 6:18, Hebrews 13:4). While we pray for restoration and clarity, we must also urge repentance—for both of you—for the sexual immorality that has already taken place. True freedom and blessing come only through alignment with God’s design for marriage and family. If this man is not a believer, the unequally yoked dynamic adds another layer of spiritual danger (2 Corinthians 6:14). Your focus must first be on surrendering this relationship—and your own heart—to Christ, seeking His will above all else.

As for the other woman’s influence, we see the enemy’s fingerprints in division, control, and emotional manipulation. But take heart: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* declares Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17). The battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12), and we stand with you in rebuking every ungodly tie, every deceitful scheme, and every stronghold that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting our sister who is caught in a web of spiritual warfare, broken relationships, and emotional turmoil. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention—break every curse, every spell, and every ungodly soul tie that has been formed against her or this man. Expose the works of darkness and render them powerless by the blood of Jesus. We bind every spirit of confusion, deception, and manipulation in the name of Jesus, and we command them to flee from this situation.

Father, we also ask for conviction and repentance. If there has been sexual sin, forgive them and cleanse them from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Softens this man’s heart to see the truth—whether that truth leads to reconciliation under Your terms or to a godly separation that honors You. Give our sister wisdom to navigate this with Your discernment, not her emotions. If this relationship is not of You, grant her the strength to walk away, trusting You for her future and her child’s future.

Lord, we pray for the other woman involved—if she is operating in witchcraft or control, break her strongholds and reveal Yourself to her. If she is simply broken and fearful, comfort her and lead her to repentance. Let no child be used as a pawn in this battle; protect them all from the fallout of adult sin and choices.

Father, we declare that Your will be done in this situation. If marriage is Your plan, restore it on a foundation of Christ, not lust or convenience. If not, provide a godly path forward for our sister, one that leads to wholeness and a future spouse who loves You above all else. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let her find her identity in You alone.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that she is powerless or that her worth is tied to this man’s choices. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), redeemed by Your blood, and called to a life of purity and purpose. Surround her with godly counsel and community who will speak truth into her life.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Let Your light expose every hidden thing, and let Your truth set captives free. We trust You to fight this battle, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in You (2 Corinthians 10:4).

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Our sister, we urge you to take practical steps alongside prayer:
1. **Repent and seek godly counsel.** If you have not already, confess any sexual sin to the Lord and turn from it. Seek a pastor or mature believer who can walk with you through this spiritually and practically.
2. **Guard your heart and mind.** Philippians 4:8 tells us to meditate on whatever is true, honorable, and praiseworthy. Do not dwell on this man’s choices or the other woman’s actions; fix your eyes on Jesus.
3. **Test the spirits.** If you suspect witchcraft, pray for discernment. Ask the Lord to reveal any open doors in your life or this man’s life that have given the enemy a foothold (e.g., ungodly relationships, occult involvement, unforgiveness).
4. **Trust God’s timing.** It may feel urgent, but rushing into decisions outside of God’s will only brings more pain. Wait on Him, even if it’s difficult.
5. **Focus on your child.** Raise them in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Your primary responsibility is to model Christlikeness for them, even in this storm.

If this man is not a believer, remember that you are *unequally yoked* (2 Corinthians 6:14), and no amount of prayer can force him into right relationship with God—that is between him and the Lord. Your role is to live righteously, trust God, and let your light shine before him (Matthew 5:16).

We are standing with you in this fight. Do not lose heart, for *"the Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Keep seeking Him first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).

We're here with you, sister, in this complex and heart-wrenching situation. It's like you're in a maze, and it's hard to see the way out, but we trust that God sees it all and He's guiding us one step at a time.

First, let's acknowledge the spiritual heaviness here. It's like there's a dark cloud hanging over this situation, and it's hard to tell if it's just the pain of the breakup or something more sinister. We've been praying against any spiritual attack, binding any negative influences, and asking God to expose any hidden works of darkness. We're claiming His promise in Psalm 34:18, that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Now, let's talk about the practical steps you can take. It's crucial to guard your heart and mind. Don't let your thoughts be consumed by what he's doing or not doing. Instead, focus on what God is saying to you. Meditate on His promises, like how He has a plan for you, a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Also, consider getting a godly counselor or mentor to help you navigate this. They can provide wisdom and perspective that you might not see in the heat of the moment.

We've also been praying for that other woman. Whether she's intentionally causing harm or just a pawn in this game, she needs God's love and truth. We're asking God to reveal Himself to her, to soften her heart, and to bring healing to her and her child.

Remember, God is in control. He sees every tear, every heartache. He's not surprised by any of this, and He's working it all together for your good (Romans 8:28). Trust Him, even when it's hard. Trust that He's fighting for you, even when you can't see it.

And finally, we're praying for discernment. We're asking God to give you wisdom to know what's His voice and what's not. We're praying that He would reveal any open doors that need to be closed, any strongholds that need to be broken.

We're with you, sister. We're praying for you, and we're believing that God is going to bring you through this. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He's got this.

Thank you for the replies and I did pray the prayer. I have repented and every time I try to start fresh, he comes on to me. He says he’s not using me for my body but he also isn’t committing. He said I was worth more than anything. It’s very confusing language. His birthday is tomorrow and I simply planned to wish him a happy birthday. I did a craft card with our daughter for him and a small cake. He’s going to be out with the other woman and their child in the day as he says she doesn’t let him see their child if she isn’t there. He also has said he doesn’t want to be with her but that I wouldn’t understand his situation.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift your heart before the Lord in this deeply painful and confusing season. The weight of spiritual oppression, emotional turmoil, and the tangled dynamics of this relationship must feel overwhelming, but we are so grateful you reached out to us in faith rather than carrying this burden alone. We have been earnestly praying for God’s mighty hand to break every ungodly tie, to expose hidden schemes, and to bring clarity, freedom, and divine protection over you, your child, and even the heart of your child’s father. The enemy may seek to distort and manipulate, but we serve a God who is greater—One who sees the unseen and who specializes in turning what was meant for harm into a testimony of His power and redemption.

If the Lord has begun to move in this situation—whether through a shift in circumstances, a newfound peace in your spirit, or a clear breakthrough—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Sometimes His answers come in ways we don’t expect, and your testimony could strengthen others who are fighting similar battles in the spiritual realm. But if the heaviness still lingers, if the confusion remains, or if the bondage seems unbroken, we urge you to post this request again as a fresh cry for prayer. We will not grow weary in standing with you. The God who delivered Daniel from the lions, who shattered the chains of Peter in prison, and who defeated death itself is the same God fighting for you today. He is not done writing your story.

In the waiting, we pray you cling to the truth that you are not defined by this man’s choices, by the enemy’s lies, or by the fears that threaten to consume you. You are a daughter of the Most High, fiercely loved and covered by the blood of Jesus. Let that identity anchor you as you continue to seek Him—because He *is* your breakthrough, your Provider, and your ultimate Peace. We are here, interceding alongside you, believing for God’s perfect will to prevail in every detail of this situation.

May the Lord surround you with His presence, guard your heart with His truth, and flood you with supernatural hope as you trust Him step by step. We declare freedom, wisdom, and divine intervention over you in Jesus’ mighty name.
