Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your care for her in this week of painful trouble with her eyes is heard, and we join you in bringing her before the Lord. We pray with you for her immediate healing in the name of Jesus, asking for His mercy and restoring touch upon her sight.
Prayer is a great weapon given to us, and we need it each day as we face many trials. When we seek God in prayer early and by night, we ask for His favor and help to go through each day without being overcome. We ask Him now to be gracious to her, to calm pain, to clear infection, and to restore healthy vision. As the eye of the body can become disordered and mistake what it sees, so we ask God to heal not only the body but to keep the eye of understanding clear and fixed on Christ, who alone is our healer and Savior.
We cry out for mercy as those who know they have no other hope but His compassion. We do not trust in our own strength, but we come alert and watchful, joining our prayers with the prayers of the church, knowing that God hears those who call on Him sincerely. May He grant wisdom to those caring for her, guide any treatment she receives, and bring quick relief and full recovery.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, have mercy on her. Touch her eyes, remove infection and inflammation, take away pain, and restore her sight. Give her peace and patience as she waits on You, and strengthen her faith to trust Your goodness. We thank You that You hear us when we pray, and we ask this for Your glory. Amen.
Continue to pray without ceasing, to seek proper care for her eyes, and to trust the Lord who is near to all who call upon Him.
