Possession Amnesia

I'm here for prayer. I have been battling what seems to be a form of demonic possession or a strongly demonic suggestion charged by a very strong demon. I have also been encountering what feels like being targeted by witches and going through a haunting, with witches invoking Bael, perhaps to cast the "Veil of Bael," for reference. But this is a little bit of what's going on. I'm hearing voices in my head. They're faint, but I still hear what I would categorize as demonic suggestions. I'm also noticing that it seems to be trying to override my memory and memory-wipe me, to where I will think something and then, perhaps three seconds later, completely forget it. I've done some research into what I'm experiencing, and I came across the term Possession Amnesia, which seems to describe some of the memory-related experiences I'm going through. I understand that this is something I found through my own research and is not a confirmed diagnosis, but the description stood out to me because of how quickly I can lose a thought or have difficulty remembering what I was just thinking. That's one thing. Another thing is that I feel like this is trying to proactively override my body and my life. As I said, I hear voices in my head, and it simultaneously seems like it is not hiding the fact that it's trying to invade my mind. I'll be saying something, but proactively, within my thoughts, as I'm thinking one thing, something else is proactively thinking another thing. It feels like my brain is getting scrambled, but I can still tell the difference between what I intentionally thought or said and what I believe is coming from what I perceive as a witch, warlock, or demon. I am being targeted by a high-ranking organization that seems to be trying to sacrifice me. At one point, I thought that when you get sacrificed, they just kill you. But I now know they try to steal your soul, your body, and then your life. And this is what seems to be happening to me, even though I am gaining deliverance. This is still a thing. I pray for freedom from this bondage of what seems to feel like slavery, and I pray that I get deliverance from every form of demonic possession and oppression entirely. The last thing is that this is being done by witches, deceased spirits, perhaps "demons," and facilitated by principalities, perhaps the prince of the airways, which I have heard through what I perceive as demonic suggestion. The witches seem to be consulting high-level principalities to facilitate demons to get me. I pray that you keep me in prayer. These are all very real things that are happening in my life, and I am not fabricating any of this. I thank you guys for taking the time to read my prayer request and, hopefully, pray for me.

We have read your request carefully and we are taking your suffering seriously before the Lord, and we are joining with you in prayer for deliverance, clarity, and freedom in Jesus' name. What you are describing with hearing faint voices, intrusive suggestions, scrambled thoughts, sudden memory loss, and the fear of being targeted for spiritual harm is deeply distressing, and we want you to know that God sees you, hears you, and is not distant from you in this battle.

We believe the Scriptures teach that spiritual warfare is real, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The enemy does work through deception, accusation, and oppression, and witchcraft and idolatry such as invoking Bael are an abomination to God and open doors to demonic influence. Yet we want to encourage you with this truth, You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. There is no principality, no power, no demon, and no name like Bael that can stand against the name of Jesus, for at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth Philippians 2:10. The prince of the power of the air Ephesians 2:2 has been defeated at the cross, and Christ has given His people authority to resist him.

We also want to lovingly address what you are experiencing in your mind and memory. The enemy seeks to bring confusion, fear, and torment, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5, and we know that God desires to give you a sound and clear mind. We encourage you while you are seeking spiritual deliverance to also seek help from a trusted, Bible-believing pastor or elders who can pray with you in person, lay hands on you, and walk with you consistently, and we also encourage you to seek a medical evaluation for the voices and sudden memory loss you describe. God can use both spiritual and practical means to bring healing, and getting care for your mind and body does not deny the spiritual reality but honors that God is Lord over all and desires your wholeness. We urge you to remove from your life any occult objects, practices, or research that focuses on demonic names and hierarchies, and instead fill your mind daily with Scripture, worship, and prayer, for faith comes by hearing the word of Christ.

We notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must speak plainly about this because it is central to your deliverance. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, forgiveness of sins, and authority over darkness. If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved Romans 10:9. When we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We encourage you to submit fully to God, renounce in Jesus' name any involvement with witchcraft, idolatry, or seeking power apart from God, and then resist the devil and he will flee from you James 4:7.

We are rebuking in Jesus' name every assignment of oppression, suggestion, confusion, and fear that has been spoken over you, and we declare that no weapon that is formed against you will prosper. We do not believe those who have died can return as spirits to torment you, for the enemy masquerades as such to deceive, but Christ is the true authority over every lying spirit.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the torment, the faint voices, the intrusive thoughts, the scrambling of the mind, and the sudden loss of memory, and You know the fear of being targeted and sacrificed. We ask for Your mercy and Your deliverance. We plead the blood of Jesus over this life, over the mind, body, and spirit. We renounce and rebuke every demonic suggestion, every spirit of confusion and oppression, every work of witchcraft and every principality that has been invoked, and we command it to leave and to go to the place appointed by Jesus, never to return. Lord, fill this place with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and with Your light that no darkness can overcome. Restore memory, restore clarity, restore a sound mind, for You have promised power, love, and self-control. Help this dear one to submit fully to You, to put on the whole armor of God, to stand firm in truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and Your Word Ephesians 6:10-18. Teach this one to cry out to Jesus moment by moment, to speak Scripture aloud, to worship, and to walk in fellowship with strong believers who will contend in prayer. If there is any open door, show it and give grace to close it through repentance and faith. We ask that You break every veil, every chain of slavery and bondage, and set this captive free indeed, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Draw this one into a deep personal relationship with Jesus as Lord and Savior, assure this heart of Your love and protection, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. We trust You for complete deliverance, healing, and restoration, and we give You all the glory. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

God is faithful, He is your deliverer, and He will not forsake you.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus name. You see how weary and unsettled he feels. Cover him with Your presence, quiet what is troubling his thoughts, and give him steady rest, clear memory and people around him who will listen and help. Lead him step by step toward freedom and wholeness as he seeks You. Amen.

Your cry has been heard and it is not light to feel the mind assailed, the memory troubled, and strange voices pressing upon the soul while fear whispers that dark powers have conspired against you. There is a word of comfort for one in such a fix, that if you are a child of God you shall hear that voice which says God has given commandment to save you and you shall be saved, saved from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, saved from the devil.

We would have you look away from the names and veils which have occupied your research and look altogether and alone to our heavenly Father for deliverance. Satan is indeed called the prince of the power of the air, and his is a supreme darkness of mind and spirit, bold in contending with God, yet Scripture declares that the Father has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. That deliverance is not invented by man. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance of a sinner from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it. But God has not only invented the way, He has found a ransom, and that ransom is a gift of Divine Love, even Jesus Christ who poured out His blood to make a full atonement. The blood of Christ speaks better things than any accusing voice and it says, Sinner, believe on Christ and you are saved. The clock of mercy strikes in Heaven the hour and moment of deliverance, for thus has the eternal purpose of Jehovah decreed it.

You speak of faint voices and thoughts that seem to intrude and scramble the mind so that a thought is lost almost as soon as it is formed. Some men never think clearly and therefore they never speak clearly, and oftentimes the darkness of a man's speech is only the result of the darkness of his mind. The devil's peace is a false peace, stupefying and deadly as opium, and he cares little how he draws a soul off from thinking of God and of eternal things if he can but keep it from Christ. Do not give ear to every voice that salutes you in the night. There is a Voice from Heaven which alone is to be heard, saying This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, hear Him. His testimony bears a majesty of Deity about it, and He was declared to be the Son of God with power by the resurrection from the dead. If you would know the true Voice, hear the Son. Open the Scriptures and let Christ speak there, for He has been in the bosom of the Father from of old and is obedient even unto death to save His people.

You fear that witches and principalities and the prince of the airways have power to steal your soul and your body and your life. Hear this for your comfort, that all your ills lie within the fence of Omnipotent overruling. If this evil came apart from Divine permission where should we be. How could a trial be met which is independent of Divine rule and outside the sacred zone of Providential government. It is hopeful when we find that nothing can touch the soul that is hid with Christ except the Lord permit it, and that which we receive, even though it be sore chastening, bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. No organization of darkness, no high principality, can pluck a ransomed soul from the hand of the Redeemer. He has taught many to say He has delivered us from the fascinating power of sin, from the power of darkness, and He will keep heart and mind in perfect peace through faith in His blood.

We would urge you therefore to seek Christ and Him only for sanctification and deliverance. We cannot receive the one blessing through the spirit and the other through the flesh. Look to Jesus, trust His finished work, plead His blood, and cry as blind Bartimaeus cried, Jesus, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. He stood still when that cry was raised, and He stands still to hear you now. Cast yourself upon the ransom God has found, and rest there.

At the same time, because the mind and body are so fearfully wrought upon, we entreat you not to walk alone in this affliction. Make it known to a faithful pastor and to godly and sober minded brethren who can watch with you, pray with you, and help you to hear the true Voice in the Word day by day. And as you seek spiritual counsel, seek also the help of those who can care for the frailty of the body and mind, that you may be strengthened and kept from isolation, for the Lord often works deliverance through the fellowship of saints and through wise and careful oversight.

We will keep you in prayer before the throne of grace. We pray that the Lord will withdraw you from every purpose of the enemy, seal His instruction upon your ear, hide pride from you, and grant you that peace which is judged to be sound by the Judge of all the earth, peace from lips that cannot lie, peace from a heart which cannot change, peace through the blood which has made a full atonement. May He deliver you from the pit, set your feet upon the Rock, and give you to say I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. May He lift you from desolation to communion, from bondage to liberty, and cause you to rest in Him who alone is mighty to save.

We commend you to that great Shepherd who has fetched His people from many dark places, washed and cleansed them, and made them sit among His people to love His ways. Look to Him, abide in His Word, pray without ceasing, and let no other voice have dominion over you but the voice of the Beloved.
