Dear lord me and my Gf been planning on having a baby together. We both our praying that the pregnancy test comes back positive when my gf takes them. Lord please bless me and My Gf Marqia with a beautiful baby

We must first address the spiritual foundation of your request, as it is vital to align your lives with God’s Word before seeking His blessings. You mention praying with your girlfriend, ###, about this pregnancy, but we notice that the name of Jesus Christ is not invoked in your prayer. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach God or receive salvation. As it is written in **Acts 4:12**, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Additionally, **John 14:6** declares that Jesus is *"the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not yet surrendered your lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for without Him, your prayers cannot be heard by the Father. True faith in Christ is the first step in walking in God’s will for your lives.

Next, we must lovingly but firmly address the fact that you and ### are not married. The Bible is unequivocal about the sanctity of marriage and the sin of fornication (sex outside of marriage). **Hebrews 13:4** states, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* Your relationship, as it stands, is not honoring to God because you are living in a way that contradicts His design for intimacy, which is reserved exclusively for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. **1 Corinthians 6:18** commands, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."* This is not a matter to be taken lightly, for **1 Corinthians 6:9-10** warns, *"Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom."*

Bringing a child into the world outside of marriage is not God’s perfect will for your lives. Children are a blessing from the Lord, but they are meant to be raised in the stability and godliness of a married home, where both parents are committed to each other and to Christ. **Psalm 127:3** says, *"Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward."* However, this heritage is meant to be nurtured within the boundaries God has set. **Malachi 2:15** reminds us, *"Didn’t he make you one, although he had the residue of the Spirit? Why one? He sought a godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth."* Your current path is one of treachery against God’s design, and it places both you and ###—and now this child—in a spiritually compromised position.

We urge you both to repent of this sin and turn to God in true remorse. **1 John 1:9** promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Repentance means turning away from this sin and committing to live in obedience to God’s Word. If you love ### and desire to honor God, you must marry her *before* pursuing parenthood. Marriage is not merely a cultural or legal formality—it is a sacred covenant before God, reflecting Christ’s relationship with His church (**Ephesians 5:22-33**). If you are not ready to commit to marriage, then you are not ready for the responsibility of raising a child in a godly home.

If the pregnancy test is indeed positive, this child is a life created by God, and abortion is never an option for those who follow Christ. **Psalm 139:13-16** declares that God knits each person together in the womb, and **Jeremiah 1:5** reminds us that He knows us before we are formed. You must prepare to receive this child as a gift from God, but you *must* do so in a way that honors Him. That begins with repentance, marriage, and a commitment to raise this child in the fear and admonition of the Lord.

Now, let us pray for you both, not as we would if you were walking in obedience, but as those who desperately need God’s mercy and transformation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You alone are holy, righteous, and just. Lord, we lift up this man and ### to You, knowing that they have strayed from Your perfect will. Father, we ask that You convict their hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit, leading them to true repentance for the sin of fornication and for seeking a child outside of Your ordained covenant of marriage. Lord, open their eyes to the gravity of their choices and the need for immediate obedience to Your Word.

If this pregnancy is confirmed, Father, we pray that You would protect this child, who is fearfully and wonderfully made by You. Give this man and ### the wisdom to do what is right: to marry without delay, to turn from their sin, and to commit their lives and this child to You. Soften their hearts, Lord, and remove any hardness or rebellion that would keep them from submitting to Your authority. Surround them with godly counsel—believers who will speak truth in love and hold them accountable to Your standards.

Father, if they have not yet surrendered to Jesus Christ as Lord, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. May they recognize that without Christ, they are lost, and without His lordship, their prayers are in vain. Draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them find forgiveness, redemption, and a new beginning in You.

We also pray for the child, if this test is positive. May this little one be raised in a home where both parents are sold out for You, where Your Word is taught, and where Your love is demonstrated. Let this situation be a turning point for this man and ###—a moment where they choose Your ways over their own desires.

Finally, Father, we ask that You provide for their needs, not just physically, but spiritually. Lead them to a Bible-believing church where they can grow in faith, be discipled, and find support. Break any strongholds of sin, complacency, or worldly thinking that have kept them from walking in Your truth.

We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone can save, transform, and redeem. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, we implore you to heed this warning and this call to repentance. The road you are on is dangerous, both spiritually and practically. But God is merciful, and He desires to forgive and restore you. **Proverbs 3:5-6** urges, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Turn to Him now, submit to His Word, and let Him guide your steps. If you marry and commit your lives to Christ, He will bless your union and this child in ways you cannot imagine. But it must begin with obedience. May God grant you the grace to choose wisely.

Dear friends, we join you in prayer, lifting up your situation to the Lord. First, we want to express our joy at the possibility of new life, a gift from God. We understand the excitement and anticipation you both must be feeling.

We also want to encourage you to seek God's will in this matter. In Matthew 7:7, Jesus tells us, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." We believe that God wants to bless you, but we must align our desires with His perfect will.

We pray that you would both surrender your lives to Jesus Christ, if you haven't already. We believe that a strong foundation in Him is crucial for any relationship and family. We also pray that you would consider the path you're on and the steps you're taking. While we understand that everyone makes mistakes, we want to encourage you to seek God's design for your lives. In Genesis 2:24, we read, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh." This is God's design for intimacy and family.

We pray that you would consider the sanctity of marriage and the commitment it represents. We believe that this child, if it comes, should be brought into a home where both parents are committed to each other and to God. We pray that you would seek God's face in this matter, asking Him for wisdom and guidance.

We also pray for the child, if this test is positive. We pray that it would grow up in a home where it knows the love of both parents and the love of God. We pray that it would be raised in a home where the Word of God is taught and lived out.

Finally, we pray for peace and guidance for you both. We pray that you would make decisions that honor God and bring Him glory. We believe that God has a plan and a purpose for your lives, and we pray that you would seek to walk in that plan.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
