We thank you for sharing this heartfelt request and we joyfully stand with you in faith, prayer and agreement for positive outcomes, victories and miracles to spring forth.

We agree with you that God is able to bring beauty from ashes and to turn what was meant for tragedy into triumph for His glory. As it is written, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. Even in difficult seasons, His favor and mercy endure, for His anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5.

We also join you in praying against the principalities and powers of darkness, knowing that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. We do not fight in our own strength, but we put on the whole armor of God and we stand firm in the victory that has already been won for us, for thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:57.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, with thanksgiving in our hearts. We ask for Your abundant favor to rest upon this situation and upon all those affected by this tragedy. We ask for positive outcomes and for miracles that only You can do, for You are He who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20. Let Your unmatched, unstoppable and abounding glory be revealed, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea. Habakkuk 2:14. We rebuke every scheme of the enemy and every power of darkness in high places, and we declare that no weapon formed against Your purposes shall prosper. We ask that You turn mourning into dancing and that many will see Your hand and give You praise. Let victories spring forth that testify of Your goodness and draw many to salvation through Jesus.

We thank You Lord that when we agree together in prayer You hear us, for again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 18:19. We trust Your perfect will and Your perfect timing, and we thank You in advance for the blessings and miracles You will pour out. We pray all these things humbly and expectantly in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for inviting us to stand with you in prayer. We hear your heart in this, a deep longing for good to come out of what has been painful, for God's power and goodness to be clearly seen, and for His glory to cover every place that feels dark or broken.

We join you in asking the Lord for His mercy and favor in the aftermath of this tragedy. We know how heavy it can feel to wait for answers when you are hoping for victory and for restoration, and we are grateful you brought this to others to carry with you. We will keep agreeing with you that God would work in ways only He can, according to His wisdom and love, and that whatever He does would point many hearts toward Him.

It can help in this kind of season to stay rooted day by day, continuing in prayer, staying close to community, and resting in the trust that God hears every word prayed in Jesus' name even when we cannot yet see how He will answer.

Father, we lift this tragedy and every need flowing from it to You. We ask for Your presence, Your protection, and Your redeeming work in the lives touched by it. Bring what is needed for healing and hope, guard hearts from discouragement, and let Your goodness be known in ways that bring You glory. We trust this to Your caring hands and pray in Jesus' name, amen.

[Spurgeon]

Your prayer has been heard and it is good to stand together with you before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

We join you in asking that even out of tragedy the Lord would bring forth His own victories and shew forth His marvelous works. We do not pray for miracles as mere wonders to gaze upon, for most of the miracles of Christ are emblems of the spiritual and moral miracles He works in the heart, yet we know that this Man does many miracles still and will continue to do them till He shall come to claim His final victory. Let us ask Him to shew today the miracles of His grace, to bring the fallen to repentance, to raise up the downcast and to make His power known where there seemed nothing for Him to begin with.

You have asked prayer against principalities and powers of darkness in high places, and we take up that same master weapon of war which is confidence in God. The Eternal God is our refuge and underneath are the everlasting arms. When our foes rage we need not fear their fury, for the Lord Jehovah Nissi is the banner of the fight and the giver of the victory. As Moses stood with uplifted hands upon the hill, so we lift up holy hands in prayer, trusting that He who brought down Omnipotence itself from heaven for Israel will do so for His people now.

We pray for favor, not as presumption but as the special favor of which it is written, the God of mercy will go before us. When He turns in a way of grace to His people He comes with all His soul most heartily and richly to display His favor and His love toward the objects of His choice. May that favor rest upon you and upon all who have been touched by this sorrow, that you may find Him to be your refuge in extremity and your strength to fight the fight till the victory comes.

We remember also that blessed passage, death is swallowed up in victory, and that He gives us the victory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Whatever loss or pain this tragedy has brought, we pray that you and many others shall know that underneath you are the everlasting arms, that you shall triumph even over death itself and enter into the presence of God to bless His name. Saints shall not so much know that they die, but only that they have gained the victory when Jesus comes to meet them.

So we stand with you in faith and agreement, giving thanks. We ask the Lord to cause abounding glory to be seen, not our glory but His, as hearts are turned to Christ, as sin is driven out little by little by the might of grace, and as the cross achieves its wondrous victory. May He grant positive outcomes according to His perfect will, victories that exalt Christ, and true miracles of love and salvation that will praise Him with the whole heart.

We commend you to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, praying all these things with thanksgiving in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our great Miracle Worker. Amen.

[Chrysostom]

We join with you in prayer and thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord. We stand with you in agreement, asking that even from this tragedy God in His mercy would bring forth good, comfort those who suffer, and cause His light to overcome darkness.

We also want to encourage you in how Scripture speaks of miracles and victories. The Lord has worked miracles as pledges of His power to confirm His teaching and to make His invisible kingdom manifest, and it is right to call upon Him for help. Yet the Scriptures teach us that miracles are not the foundation of faith for those who already believe, but are given especially to lead the unbelieving toward belief. What most draws people to lasting faith is not signs alone but a life of faithful conduct, prudence, love for the Scriptures, and willingness to take up the cross and follow Christ. Miracles without such a life are nothing, for grace is freely received and is meant first to heal the soul. The greatest miracle we can seek is a heart turned fully to Christ, cleansed and strengthened to live according to His word.

So we pray with you not only for outward outcomes but for inward victory according to God's perfect will. In the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, we ask the Father to bring redemption from this sorrow, to console the afflicted, to grant wisdom and endurance, and to frustrate every scheme of the powers of darkness. We pray against principalities and powers in high places, that the Lord would guard His people and cause truth and righteousness to prevail. We ask for His favor, not as the world understands favor, but as His grace to walk uprightly, to be kept from pride and covetousness, and to bear faithful witness to Him. May His glory be seen across the world not in mere spectacle, but in holy lives, in repentance, in mercy, and in the faithful proclamation of the gospel.

Continue to seek Him through prayer, through careful attention to Scripture, and through a life that reflects His teaching. In this way you will attract His help and know His eternal blessings. We give thanks to God who is able to do all things by His will alone, and we trust His answer will be for your good and for His glory. In Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.
