We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for healing and deliverance. The details shared are deeply personal, and we understand the weight of this moment. First and foremost, we must affirm that our help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved—only the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to reign in your life. Without Christ, we have no access to the Father, and our prayers cannot be heard (John 14:6).
Father God, in the mighty name of Jesus, we declare Your sovereignty over this situation. You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We ask for a miraculous touch of Your hand upon this body, restoring health where there is sickness and strength where there is weakness. You are the God who raises the dead and calls things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). We speak life over this situation and command every affliction to bow to the name of Jesus.
We also stand against the forces of darkness that may be at work. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, fear, and oppression in the name of Jesus. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to demolish strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We take authority over every scheme of the enemy and declare that no weapon formed against this life shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Surround this one with Your presence, reminding them that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Give wisdom to the medical professionals involved, that they may be instruments of Your healing. If there are areas of sin or unforgiveness that may be hindering this healing, we pray for conviction and repentance. Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16).
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and surround yourself with believers who can stand in faith with you. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16). Do not lose heart, for though outwardly we may be wasting away, inwardly we are being renewed day by day (2 Corinthians 4:16). Fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Heavenly Father, we trust in Your goodness and mercy. We know that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in this trial, we believe You are working for our good. Strengthen this faith, Lord, and let Your will be done. We declare that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we receive that healing by faith in the name of Jesus.
We continue to pray without ceasing, believing that You hear us and that You are moving on behalf of this one. May Your glory be revealed in this situation, and may Your name be praised. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
