Beloved of All
We have lifted you and your family before the Lord in prayer, and we have heard the weight of what you are carrying. The severe pain and numbness in the spine, arms, legs and face, the tears from constant suffering, the worry over the coming magnetic resonance scan and what it will show, the care for your mother with Alzheimer, and your own struggles with anemia, vitamin D deficiency and changes you have seen in your health, all while facing debt, a business under embargo, the need for income to pay for doctors and daily living, and conflict with neighbors that has stolen your peace. God sees that you are weary and that you have wept bitterly, and He knows you feel without help or support.
Scripture teaches that when those who are called by His name humble themselves and pray and seek His face and turn from their wicked ways, then He hears from heaven, forgives sin and brings healing. That is our prayer for you now, that you would draw near to Him with a humble heart, and that He would hear from His dwelling place in heaven and answer with mercy. He does not dwell in a house made by hands, but He has promised to be present with His people wherever they go, to hear the supplications that are made toward Him.
The enemy seeks to turn us aside from the path of God, and the end of that turned aside path is always grief. So we pray as Scripture teaches, keep us from evil lest it grieve us, and keep Your hand upon us. Stay close to the Lord's path even in this distress, trusting Him rather than taking matters into your own hands out of fear, and ask Him to keep you from the grief that comes from stepping away from Him.
The Lord was with David wherever he walked, and He cut off his enemies before him and gave him rest. He did not allow harm to come to His people beyond His purpose, and He even reproved kings for their sake, saying touch not my anointed. In the same way, He is able to restrain evil, to protect you from spiritual attack, and to give you peace even while you are surrounded by trouble. He knows how to take a ragtag, broken and indebted group and make them strong, for He is the one who gives the victory. David himself was far from perfect, yet he was a man after God's own heart because his heart sought after God, and God used him still. You do not have to be perfect for God to hear you and to work in your life. He receives imperfect people who trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, for there is no other name by which we are saved.
So we pray that the Lord Jesus would have mercy and bring the miracle of health you are asking for. We ask Him to touch the spine and heal what is damaged, to take away the numbness and the pain, to give wisdom to the doctors as they read the scan, and to allow a recovery that makes it possible to work and live again. We pray for your mother, for comfort and care in her illness, and for you, for strength in your body, for healing of the anemia and deficiency, and for clear answers and help concerning the changes you have noticed. We ask Him to provide for your daily needs, to bring honest work and clients for the business, to make a way through the debt and the embargo, and to supply what is needed for medical care and for the home that needs repair. We ask Him to lift the heaviness and sadness, to give hope where everything has felt blocked, whether in work or study or daily life, and to surround you with His peace where there has been no peace. We ask Him to keep you from evil and to guard your hearts and home from every attack, that you may live in quietness and rest under His hand.
May the Lord keep His hand upon you, hear your cry from heaven, and answer according to His perfect love and wisdom in Christ.
