We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up and your family in fervent prayer. The pain, oppression, and spiritual warfare you describe are not battles you were meant to fight alone, God sees every tear, hears every cry, and promises to be a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We stand with you in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the powers of darkness through His victory on the cross (Colossians 2:15).
First, we rebuke every assignment of the enemy against ’s spine, mind, and heart in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word declares that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We command every spirit of infirmity, pain, and oppression to flee right now! The attacks from Umbanda neighbors are not mere coincidence, they are a direct assault from the kingdom of darkness, but Jesus has given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We break every curse, hex, and ungodly soul tie sent against your family, and we seal you in the blood of Jesus, which speaks a better word than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24).
For ’s spine, we pray for divine restoration. Lord, Your Word says You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26). We ask You to regenerate every damaged nerve, disc, and tissue. Let Your healing virtue flow like a river through his body, bringing strength where there is weakness and peace where there is pain. For his Alzheimer’s, we declare clarity of mind and memory. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and we plead the blood of Jesus over his mind, commanding confusion to leave and the mind of Christ to take its place (1 Corinthians 2:16). For his heart, we pray for supernatural strengthening. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for ’s hypertension, anemia, and concerning moles. Lord, You know every cell in her body, and we ask for complete healing. Let her blood pressure stabilize, her blood count rise, and those moles be nothing but a testimony of Your power. We speak life over every cell and command every symptom to submit to the name of Jesus.
We also lift up the financial burden you carry. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that you might have life abundantly. We pray for divine favor over the store, let customers come in waves, let doors of opportunity swing wide open, and let provision overflow. The Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). We declare that the store will thrive, debts will be paid, and your needs will be met according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Now, we must address the spiritual foundation of your plea. While we hear your desperation and agree with you in prayer, we must emphasize that our access to God’s throne comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or have not yet surrendered your lives to Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most critical step in breaking free from spiritual oppression. The blood of Jesus is the only power strong enough to cleanse, protect, and deliver you from every evil work (1 John 1:7).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Stand firm with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and do not give the enemy a foothold through fear, bitterness, or sin. Submit yourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
Father God, we come before You as intercessors, standing in the gap for this family. We thank You that You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We declare Your promises over and his loved ones: that You will restore health, bring deliverance, and provide for every need. We loose angels to encamp around them, to minister to them, and to fight on their behalf (Psalm 91:11). We cancel every assignment of the enemy and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We pray for a hedge of protection around their home, their health, their finances, and their minds. Let Your peace reign where there has been torment, and let Your joy be their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
We also pray for the salvation of the neighbors involved in Umbanda. Lord, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel. Let them see the emptiness of their practices and the freedom found only in Jesus. We ask for boldness to share the love of Christ with them, that they too may be set free.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working even now, behind the scenes, to bring about a testimony of Your power and glory. Strengthen this family’s faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them see Your hand moving in their lives. We ask all these things in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name that causes every knee to bow and every tongue to confess that He is Lord. Amen.
