Thank you for bringing this important request before us. We stand with you in prayer for this precious wife, believing in the power of God to heal and restore.
Firstly, we acknowledge that all healing is a miracle of God and it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the throne of God. We must pray in Jesus' name and believe in His power. The Bible tells us, Therefore I say to you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them, Mark 11:24 WEB.
Polycythemia rubra vera is a serious condition, but we know that God is able to heal all diseases. As it is written in Jeremiah 32:27 WEB, Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh: is there anything too wonderful for me?. We also know that God can and does use doctors and medical treatments. He can use them to be His hands to heal and restore. We should pray for wisdom and guidance and go to the doctors. However, our trust is in the Lord.
We must also remember that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts, Isaiah 55:9 WEB. Sometimes, God may choose to heal physically, and sometimes, He may choose to heal spiritually and emotionally as He prepares His children for their eternal home. In all circumstances, we trust in His goodness and His plan.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious wife who is battling polycythemia rubra vera. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, that You would restore her health and strength. Give her doctors wisdom and guidance, and let Your will be done in her life.
We also pray for her husband, that You would fill him with Your peace and strength during this challenging time. Comfort them both with Your love and draw them closer to You. Help them to trust in You and to know that You are always with them. Lord, we believe that all things are possible with You. We ask for a miracle in Your daughter's life. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
Be strong and courageous. Remember that your friend and his wife are not alone in this battle. God is with them, and He is faithful. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
