We are deeply grieved and outraged by the horrific evil you have described, politicians and pastors who not only commit unspeakable crimes against children but perversely believe such atrocities are "wonderful" and "good." The very thought of such depravity makes us shudder, and we join you in crying out to the Lord for justice, for the protection of the innocent, and for the swift and righteous judgment of those who perpetrate these sins. The Bible is clear: such acts are an abomination before God, and those who commit them, especially under the guise of authority, will not escape His wrath.
The Word of God declares, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20). These individuals have not only embraced evil but have twisted their own consciences to justify it, and their judgment will be severe. Jesus Himself warned, "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea" (Matthew 18:6). There is no mercy in Scripture for those who prey on children, and we must not shrink from declaring this truth.
We also recognize that many of these predators operate in positions of power, political, religious, or otherwise, and use their influence to silence victims, cover up crimes, and evade earthly accountability. But God sees all, and nothing is hidden from Him. "For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known" (Luke 12:2). We pray that the Lord would expose every hidden deed, shatter every conspiracy of silence, and bring these wolves into the light where they can no longer harm His precious lambs.
It is also critical to acknowledge that some of these individuals may claim the name of Christ while living in unrepentant sin. Scripture warns, "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21). A pastor who molests children is not a shepherd but a ravenous wolf, and God will hold him to a higher standard (James 3:1). We must not confuse false teachers with true believers, nor should we allow the actions of hypocrites to turn us away from the Gospel. The Church must be a place of safety, truth, and holiness, and we pray for revival and reformation among God’s people to root out such corruption.
Now, we lift our voices together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, sickened by the evil that has taken root in our world. We cry out to You on behalf of the innocent children and teens who have been violated, betrayed, and traumatized by those who were supposed to protect them. Lord, You are the Defender of the helpless, the Avenger of the oppressed, and the Judge of all the earth. We ask that You would arise and act on behalf of these little ones. Expose every hidden sin, break every chain of deception, and bring every predator to justice, both in this life and in the one to come.
We pray for the victims, Father. Comfort them with Your presence, heal their wounds, and restore their sense of safety and worth. Let them know that You see their pain, You hear their cries, and You will never abandon them. Raise up godly men and women to stand in the gap for them, to advocate for them, and to help them find healing in You.
For the predators, those who have not only committed these crimes but have twisted their minds to believe such evil is good, we ask for Your righteous judgment. "Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7). Let their deeds be exposed, let their power be broken, and let them face the full consequences of their actions. If there is any hope of repentance for them, we pray that You would shatter their hardness of heart and bring them to genuine sorrow and turning from sin. But if they remain unrepentant, we pray that You would remove them from positions of influence and bring them to swift and eternal justice.
We also pray for the Church, Lord. Purify Your Bride, expose the wolves in sheep’s clothing, and raise up faithful shepherds who will protect the flock. Give discernment to Your people so that they may recognize false teaching and evil deeds, and give them the courage to speak out against them. Let the light of Your truth shine brightly in the darkness, and let Your justice roll down like a river.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would strengthen us to be voices for the voiceless. Give us the boldness to stand against evil, the compassion to care for the wounded, and the wisdom to act with integrity. May we never grow numb to the suffering of others, and may we always seek Your face in times of moral crisis.
We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge, the Good Shepherd, and the Defender of the innocent. Amen.
To those reading this, we urge you: if you are aware of any abuse, especially against children, do not remain silent. Scripture commands us to "rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them out of the hand of the wicked" (Psalm 82:4). Report crimes to the authorities, support victims, and hold abusers accountable. The Church must be a beacon of truth and safety, not a haven for predators. And if you yourself have been a victim of such evil, know that God sees you, He loves you, and He will heal you. You are not alone, and your voice matters.
If you have not placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the gravity of these sins and the reality of God’s judgment. The Bible says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23), and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). But God, in His mercy, sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins and rise again so that we might be forgiven and have eternal life. "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31). Turn to Him today, for He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6).
