We hear your cry for your eyesight and for the inflammation that is raging in your body and we stand with you together before the throne of grace to seek the Lord's mercy and healing in Jesus' name.
We know how frightening it is when your sight is threatened and when inflammation feels out of control, and we want you to know that God sees your suffering and cares deeply for you. He is the Lord who heals you. Exodus 15:26 says I am Yahweh who heals you, and Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us to praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We also cling to Jeremiah 30:17 where the Lord says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we lift up this precious one to You who is struggling with eyesight trouble and severe inflammation. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would lay Your healing hand upon their eyes and upon every inflamed part of their body. Calm the inflammation, restore clear vision, and bring relief from pain and fear. Give wisdom to any doctors and medical help they seek, for You give wisdom and skill to healers, and guide them to the right treatment. Fill this dear one with Your peace that passes understanding and with faith to trust You through this trial. We ask that You restore health fully according to Your will and for Your glory. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek appropriate medical care diligently while you trust the Lord, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we are called to steward them well. Bring your anxieties to Him continually, rest as you are able, and let others in the body of Christ pray for you and lay hands on you as James 5:14-15 teaches, Is any among you sick Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

Your urgent cry concerning your eyesight and this fierce inflammation has been heard, and we bring it at once to the great Physician.
We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press us to seek help, and you do well to cry out for strong prayer when affliction goes wild within you. There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture tells us the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves, the little things about Him, are full of healing virtue. That same Jesus is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and when He comes to dwell with His people they have no need to say they are sick, for pardon and healing are joined together in His hand.
We pray for you now that the Lord who healed the sick of the palsy and who took the fevered one by the hand and lifted her up would lay His healing hand upon you. May He who changes the life blood and makes the nature new look upon your eyes and upon this inflammation that rages so fiercely, and speak peace to it. We ask the Lord to cool what is inflamed, to restore what is weakened in your sight, and to give skill and wisdom to those who care for you in medical things, for the Lord often works through appointed means.
O you who are now pressed with pain, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand, for the Lord has begun to heal us and the healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle. Whether His answer be immediate relief or sustaining grace through a longer trial, may you find Him to be your conduit Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.

Your urgent plea for your eyesight and for relief from this severe inflammation has been heard, and we are praying earnestly for you before the Lord.
We ask Jesus Christ, the true physician of both soul and body, to have mercy on you, to ease the inflammation that afflicts you, to restore and protect your eyesight, and to grant you relief from pain and fear. We pray that He will give wisdom to any doctors who care for you, and that He will give you patience and peace as you wait on Him, trusting not in our own strength but in His compassion and power to heal.
Scripture reminds us that our bodies are fragile and often need the work of a physician, and that Christ Himself came as the spiritual physician who heals what is most deeply diseased within us. When the eyes are diseased, even light can feel painful, yet it is the light of Christ that ultimately brings health and clarity. So we pray not only for healing of your eyes and your body, but that in this trial you would know His nearness, His comfort, and His sustaining grace.
We will continue to lift you up in prayer, asking God to calm this inflammation, to preserve your sight, and to strengthen your faith through this suffering. Your request for prayer for your eyes and for the inflammation that has flared up so severely has been heard and I am praying with you for God's mercy and healing touch.
I want you to know that I believe very strongly that God heals today. The Gospels show Jesus healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people, and Matthew connects that ministry to what Isaiah foretold, that He Himself bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses. That is the foundation for coming to Him with confidence for our bodies.
At the same time there is much about healing that we do not understand. Scripture shows Jesus healing in many different ways. Sometimes He healed instantly with a word, sometimes with a touch, sometimes without even being present, and in one recorded case the healing came gradually. He was never confined to a single pattern. I believe there are all kinds of healing and that any true healing is divine. God has established healing processes within our bodies, and the way He works through those natural processes is no less divine than an instant touch, because He is the one who created nature and its processes. He also brings healing to our minds and emotions, calming fear and distress that sickness brings.
Because of this we do not presume to know exactly how God will work in your case, and we do not claim to understand why some are healed quickly and others wait longer. It would be wrong to tell you that if you are not healed immediately it must be because of sin in your life or a lack of faith. That is like the error of Job's comforters. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times concerning his own thorn in the flesh and was not delivered from it as he had asked. Good people do suffer illness, and that suffering is not necessarily a direct result of personal failure. God remains sovereign and loving even when His ways are beyond our understanding.
What we can do is bring your need to Jesus in simple faith, as the woman who had suffered for twelve years simply reached out to touch the hem of His garment and knew she had been made well. You can come to Him just as you are, and you can also ask the elders to pray for you according to Scripture, and continue to use the medical help God has provided, trusting that God can work through both prayer and the healing processes He designed.
My prayer for you is this. Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one who is struggling with inflammation and troubled eyesight. You know the pain and the worry this brings. You bore our infirmities and you have power over every part of the body. I ask that you would bring healing, whether it be instant or gradual, and that you would calm the inflammation and restore clear sight. Give wisdom to those providing care, grant peace to the heart and mind while waiting, and let your presence be felt as comfort and strength. Let your will be done and let your healing, in whatever form you choose to give it, bring testimony to your goodness. Amen.
