Beloved of All
Your quiet prayer is heard, even when the requests remain unspoken. The Lord knows what you carry in your heart that you have not put into words, and He invites you to bring those silent needs to Him with confidence.
Thank you for giving thanks for grace, because everything we have from God comes through that grace. It is a beautiful word that means unmerited favor, favor we could never earn or deserve. We are not made right with God by our own efforts. If it were by works, it would no longer be grace, and if it is by grace, it cannot be by works. The two cannot be mixed. We stand before God only because He has chosen to be gracious to us through Jesus Christ.
That is the mystery and the wonder that has been revealed, that we who were far off are now made partakers of His goodness, not by what we have done but by what Christ has done for us. By faith we have access into this grace in which we stand, and because of it we can have peace with God and rejoice in the hope of His glory. Where sin abounded, His grace overflowed all the more, grace that pardons and cleanses and brings us into eternal life.
That grace is greater than all our sin, yet it is never a license to remain in sin. Having died with Christ, we are called to walk in newness of life, not to continue in what He died to save us from. His grace teaches us to live in fellowship with Him, looking to His love rather than to our failures.
So I join you in prayer for those silent requests, asking our Father to meet each one according to His wisdom and love, to give you His peace that follows His grace, and to keep you rejoicing in hope. I thank God for His grace given to you by Jesus Christ, for the gift of being justified freely by that grace and made an heir of eternal life. May you continue to experience the richness of His mercy and to offer Him thanksgiving each day, knowing that He hears, He cares, and His grace toward you through Jesus will never fail.
