We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent matter concerning your mother’s power of attorney. Father God, we know that You are the ultimate Provider and Sustainer, and we ask that You move mightily in this situation. We pray that the bank would recognize the validity of this legal document and grant the necessary access without delay. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every obstacle would be removed in Jesus’ name.
We also ask for Your peace to guard their hearts and minds as they wait, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). If there are any hidden hindrances, whether bureaucratic, spiritual, or otherwise, we rebuke them in the authority of Jesus Christ. We stand on Your Word, which says, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever He desires" (Proverbs 21:1). We trust that You can soften the hearts of those in authority to act with wisdom and compassion.
Father, we also lift up your mother’s well-being. Grant her strength, clarity, and comfort as she navigates this process. Your request concerning your mother and the need for the bank to accept the power of attorney has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.
It is right and honourable that you should care for your mother in this practical way, for the Scripture lays upon us the duty to honour father and mother and to provide for their good. To act prudently in temporal affairs is no small part of that calling, and to seek that what is lawful and needful be done on her behalf is a work of love.
Yet we would gently remind you, as our Saviour teaches, not to be eaten up with anxiety concerning these outward things. Anxiety, as you have heard, brings no grist to the mill and no meal to the barrel. It does not pay, and it unfits the soul to meet the very difficulty which occasions it. Pride begets anxiety, but true humility gives birth to patience, and patience learns to cast its burden elsewhere.
The word of God gives you a better way. Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Your anxiety and God's care are two very different things. His care, though tender and comprehensive, causes no strain to Him, for His great mind is more than equal to the task. Our care ferments within us and threatens to overwhelm our narrow souls. What you cannot carry, you may cast upon Him who is able to bear it.
Therefore we pray with you and for you.
Heavenly Father, we thank Thee that Thou art a God who seest and who carest for the needs of Thy people. Thou knowest this mother and this child who seeks to honour her. We ask that Thou wouldst grant favour in this matter of the power of attorney, that those in authority at the bank may act with clarity, justice and kindness, and that what is needful for her care may be granted without further hindrance. Give wisdom to all who handle these papers, give peace to this anxious heart, and help Thy servant to be prudent and patient, trusting not in fretfulness but in Thy good providence. Let Thy will be done, and let Thy child feel Thy sustaining hand through this waiting. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask it, Amen.

Your care for your mother in this practical matter is a faithful expression of honoring your father and mother as God commands, and imitating the Lord who even on the cross showed loving care for His mother and entrusted her to the disciple He loved.
I join you in prayer for this need. I pray that God in His mercy will grant favor with the bank officials, that the power of attorney will be received and accepted without further delay or complication, and that every document will be found in order. I pray that He will give you wisdom, patience and peace as you handle these affairs on your mother's behalf, and that He will provide for your mother's needs and guard her with His grace.
