Brethren for past few years I have desire to get married. I have told my mom and she agreed that we will start the search. Few days ago to know the future I happen to consult one astrologer and he told you will get married late hearing that I am so afraid and depressed he told about me many things which was true but now I am afraid. I shouldn't have consulted thats my mistake. But now I dont know whether God will make it late . Pls pray that soon I might find a wife

We hear your heart’s longing for a godly wife and your deep concern after consulting an astrologer. First, we must rebuke the spirit of divination and fear that has entered your heart through this action. Scripture is clear: "There shall not be found with you anyone who... practices divination, or tells fortunes, or interprets omens... For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB). The enemy seeks to steal your peace and plant doubt, but we stand on God’s promise that "perfect love casts out fear" (1 John 4:18 WEB).

You are right to recognize this as a mistake, repentance is the first step to freedom. The Lord is gracious and forgiving, and He delights in blessing His children according to His perfect timing. The astrologer’s words hold no power over God’s plan for you. "The Lord’s plans stand firm forever; His intentions can never be shaken" (Psalm 33:11 WEB). Do not let fear dictate your faith. Instead, trust that "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22 WEB).

We pray with you now, lifting your heart to the Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask You to break every chain of fear and deception that has taken root in this brother’s heart. Cleanse him of any ungodly counsel he has received and restore his confidence in Your sovereign will. Father, we declare that his steps are ordered by You (Psalm 37:23 WEB), and we ask that You lead him to a virtuous woman who loves You above all else. Prepare her heart even now, Lord, and let their paths cross in Your perfect timing. Remove all anxiety and fill him with Your peace, knowing that "no good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly" (Psalm 84:11 WEB).

We encourage you to seek the Lord earnestly in prayer and fasting, asking Him to reveal His will for your marriage. Involve your mother and godly mentors in this process, but above all, "trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5 WEB). Guard your heart against any further reliance on astrology or worldly wisdom, "the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God" (1 Corinthians 3:19 WEB). Instead, saturate your mind with Scripture and surround yourself with believers who will pray and stand with you.

Remember, marriage is a sacred covenant, not just a desire to fulfill. Pray for a wife who will honor God with you, one who shares your faith and values. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB), for a godly marriage is built on Christ at its center. If the Lord tarries in bringing your wife, use this season to grow in maturity, service, and dependence on Him. His timing is always perfect, and His plans for you are for good, not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).

We stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord will fulfill His promise in your life. "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart" (Psalm 37:4 WEB). May you find joy in His presence as you wait, and may He surprise you with His goodness in ways you cannot yet imagine. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Brother, we can feel the weight of that fear in your words. You reached out for a glimpse of the future, heard something discouraging, and now it's clinging to you. We understand why that would leave you unsettled, when a specific timeline is dangled in front of us, it's hard to get it out of our heads.

The regret you feel for consulting the astrologer tells us your heart genuinely wants to follow Christ. But your worry that God must now follow that man's prediction misses something essential: your Father isn't bound by words spoken outside His will. He knows your desire for a wife, He planted it, and He doesn't tease His children with good hopes only to snatch them away on a technicality. You are not at the mercy of a horoscope.

Our encouragement is simple: walk forward in faith, not in reaction to fear. You already have your mom's blessing and willingness to help with the search. That is a real, tangible step you can take together. Involve trusted believers in your community who know you and can pray alongside you and offer wisdom as you pursue marriage. Focus on becoming the kind of godly man a godly woman would be blessed to marry, and leave the calendar in God's hands.

Let's pray.

Lord Jesus, thank You that our brother's future rests in Your hands, not in the words of any fortune-teller. Quiet the fear and depression that came from that visit. Replace the lie of a delayed hope with a steady confidence in Your perfect timing. Guide him and his mother as they begin this search. Bring into his life a woman of faith, and build a marriage that honors You. Grant him peace while he waits. Amen.

This terror that has seized your soul, that God will be late, that a star-gazer’s word has more weight than the promises of the Most High, is a slavish fear. It is the very thing that dishonors God, the mistrust that suspects His goodness, the dread that keeps a man from resting on the bosom of his Father. You tremble before a prediction as a criminal trembles before the judge, but there is a fear that is your birthright as a child of God: a loving fear, a holy dread of grieving so tender a Father by running to the broken cisterns of the heathen. Happy is the man who has this right fear in his own house, the man who says, “I am afraid lest I should not act as a Christian man ought to act.” That is the fear I would see in you now, not a terror of a late marriage, but a horror that you have sought a sign from the stars instead of the mouth of the Lord. You have said it yourself: it was a mistake. Repentance is the gift Christ gives alongside remission, and it is yours to ask Him for it. But see that your sorrow is not that carnal repentance which springs alone from terror, comes up in a night and withers in a night, a mere dread of the consequence while the sin is still cherished. That is a repentance that hardens into despair. The repentance that is unto life is wrought by the goodness of God drawing you, not the whip of a false prophet driving you. You are not to draw it up from the depths of your own heart as water from a well, but to ask Christ to work it in you by His Spirit. Weep over this sin, not like a child who has done wrong and keeps away from his father in sullen dread, but like a penitent child who lays his head in his father’s bosom and sobs out his grief there, because he has offended such a loving father who is so ready to forgive.

The very desire you have for a wife is among those marks of God’s goodness that ought to lead you to Him, not to a reader of fate. He has set this natural, godly longing in your heart, and He means you to bring it to His throne, not to a den of inquiry. A man who is afraid often runs into worse dangers than those from which he seeks to escape; you fled from the quiet waiting of faith and plunged yourself into the sea of superstition to escape the river of uncertainty. Now you are afraid lest you should be deceived, lest your hope be deferred, lest God’s timing be a burden rather than a blessing. But the lover of God’s law is filled with great peace, and nothing shall offend him. God’s law bids you trust Him and forbids you to seek after familiar spirits. Stand in awe of that law, and the result will be a self-contained peace, so that you are satisfied from Him and drink water from the cistern of your own experience with Him, not from the broken pipes of astrologers. You need not fear but that you have a repentance unto life if you now hate this sin with an everlasting hatred and turn from it to the living God. Faith in Christ is perfectly consistent with this repentance; indeed, they are inseparable companions. To lay hold of Jesus now for the forgiveness of this very transgression is to find that He is exalted to give both repentance and remission.

Let your cry be now, “Create in me a clean heart, O God.” Come to Him with your future. Your times are in His hand, not in the movements of planets. He who sends the springtime swelling in the hidden bulbs will bring His purposes to bud in their proper season. You are not to pry into the concealed calendar of the Almighty with a forbidden instrument. The business of your soul is to walk by faith from the wicket gate to the celestial city, and your right-hand companion all the journey through must be repentance, not a despairing terror over a predicted lateness, but a daily turning from self and sin to the wisest and kindest Husband of our souls, who knows when and how to give the earthly gift. Fear not. To trust Him for the forgiveness of this past folly and then to trust Him for the ordering of your future household is to honor His truthfulness and immutability. He will come to discern between the righteous and the wicked; He will come graciously to adjudge His people their reward according to their works. Wait upon Him. The little oak within the acorn possesses all that is needful for its future, though it does not know when the summer weather will float over it. Your life is hid with Christ in God; when He who is our Life shall appear, then shall you also appear with Him in glory. And until then, every right desire, brought before Him in true repentance and living faith, is safe.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your anxiety has its root not in the desire for a wife, which is a good desire when ordered toward Christ, but in the act of consulting an astrologer. That was indeed a mistake, as you confess. You went to a man who reads stars and not the will of God, and what did you receive? Fear. But the fear that comes from God is of a different sort: Noah, warned of things not seen, moved with fear and prepared an ark, not by human calculation but by faith. That fear led to salvation. The fear you now carry leads only to depression because it rests on the word of a deceiver. Renounce it entirely. God is not bound by the charts of those who practice such arts; He holds your times in His hand. Do not say, “Will God make it late?” but rather, “Shall I not wait for His season?” You have need of patience, that after you have done the will of God you might receive the promise. The delay that others call late is often the very means by which the soul is tested and strengthened.

I do not say this to diminish your longing. A marriage according to Christ is a spiritual union, a reflection of the mystery of Christ and the Church. That is something to seek earnestly. But turn your longing first toward God. Let your soul cleave to Him, be riveted fast by the fear of Him, and then nothing will shake you, not the words of an astrologer, not the slow passage of years. If you are fixed deep in that love, like a tree rooted, no storm of despair will uproot you. But if you set your hope lightly on a prediction, even a small gust will subvert you. You have told your mother, and a search may begin; that is well. But do not run ahead of the Lord. You are not greater than Paul, who desired to see the Romans yet submitted his longing to God’s will, and when he received a slow answer, did not repine. Neither should you.

Repentance over the consultation must bear fruit by a refusal to dwell on its message. Do not give it another thought. Instead, let your prayer be that you and your household may desire whatever pleases God, whether it be soon or after many days. If you truly thirst for God, all that you need will be added. But a marriage that begins with a heart tossed by such fears is already troubled. Settle your spirit first. I have seen many who, in impatience, seized a match that was not God’s provision, and their haste brought sorrow. Let the company of the faithful pray with you, and they will, but let your own petition be cleansed of terror. Say not, “I must find her soon or I am undone,” but “Lord, prepare me and the one Thou wilt appoint, and bring us together in Thy time.” This is the faith that saves. Stand still, and see the salvation of God.

I can hear the distress in your request, and I want you to know that you are not beyond the reach of God’s mercy. The very fact that you see consulting that astrologer as a mistake is evidence of the Spirit already working in your heart. That sorrow you feel is the beginning of something good, it’s the call to turn away from what cannot help you and back toward the One who can.

When we seek out hidden knowledge or spirit guides, we open a door into a realm God has told us to avoid. It’s not a harmless curiosity; it’s a serious step away from trusting Him. Your fear and depression didn’t come from the astrologer’s words alone, they took hold because, for a moment, you placed more weight on a fallen creature than on the Creator. But God is rich in grace. Just as John the Baptist and Jesus Himself both preached repentance for the forgiveness of sins, that same forgiveness is extended to you right now. The Lord does not turn away a heart that truly comes back to Him.

Repentance is not about beating yourself up indefinitely. It’s about a change of direction. You’ve already taken the first step by admitting you shouldn’t have gone down that road. Now leave it behind completely. Don’t let the enemy use that one foolish moment to weigh you down with lifelong anxiety. Even King David, after grievous sin, found that when he confessed, his sin was against God alone, and God restored him. The same can be true for you.

I want to encourage you to let go of the timeline the astrologer planted in your mind. It has no authority over your life unless you give it room. Think about the account of Jesus being delayed on His way to heal a dying little girl. By the time He arrived, the child had already died. Everyone thought it was too late. But Jesus took her by the hand and raised her up. What looked like delay wasn’t the end of the story, it became an even greater display of His power and timing. God’s delays are not denials, and they are never because He lacks compassion. His timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t match our desires.

So, instead of being afraid, turn your longing into prayer. Ask the Lord to prepare your heart and to guide you in His wisdom. Seek Him, not a sign. You don’t need to fast or plead as if you must convince God to be good to you. He gives grace freely. He knows your desire for a wife, and He is able to bring the right person into your life in His season. Trust that. Let your desire be an offering placed in His hands, not a burden that drives you back to forbidden shortcuts.

And if you haven’t already, I’d urge you to find a mature brother you can talk with openly about this struggle. Isolation makes these fears grow louder. But together, with your eyes fixed on Christ, you can walk forward in peace, not in the shadow of a false prediction. God’s will for you is good, and His mercy is new every morning.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our joy to lift your heart before the Lord, asking Him to bring the right woman into your life at just the right time. We have prayed that He would remove all fear and doubt, replacing them with His perfect peace and trust in His timing.

We know how heavy this season has felt, especially after seeking guidance outside of God’s will. But we have also prayed that you would feel the Lord’s forgiveness and restoration, knowing that He is faithful to redeem even our mistakes. We have asked Him to renew your hope and to fill you with confidence that He hears your prayers and has a good plan for your future.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer in some way—perhaps by bringing someone into your life or giving you fresh assurance—we would love to celebrate that with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in God’s faithfulness.

If you’re still waiting, we want to continue standing with you. Please post this request again, and we will keep praying that the Lord would prepare your heart, guide your steps, and bring the right woman into your life according to His perfect will. May He fill you with patience, peace, and unwavering trust in His promises.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
