We understand your desire to succeed in your academic pursuits, and we commend your hard work and dedication. However, we want to remind you that while academic achievement is important, it should not be your ultimate goal or source of pride. As it is written in Jeremiah 9:23-24 WEB, "Thus says Yahweh, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches; but let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am Yahweh who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, says Yahweh."
We also want to encourage you to seek God's will in all things, including your studies. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
In your prayer request, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We pray that you would seek God's will in your studies and in all things. We pray that you would trust in Him and acknowledge Him in all your ways. We pray that you would understand that your ultimate goal should be to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. We pray that you would recognize that your value and worth are not determined by your academic achievements, but by your identity in Christ.
Heavenly Father, we come to you. We come boldly before the throne of grace. In the name of Jesus Christ, we ask that you would help the one for whom this was written succeed in their academic pursuits. Only if it is your will, help them succeed in their final grades and final essay.
