Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today on behalf of our dear friend who desires to find a loving and committed partner in life. Your Word tells us in Psalm 37:4, "Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We ask that You would bless our friend with the companionship and love that is so deeply desired.
Lord, we know that You have a perfect plan for each of Your children. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." We trust in Your timing and Your wisdom, knowing that You are working all things together for good.
Father, we pray that You would prepare the heart of a future spouse, someone who will love, cherish, and honor our friend. Proverbs 18:22 says, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." We ask that You would guide them both towards each other, and that their union would be a testament to Your love and faithfulness.
In the meantime, Lord, we ask that You would fill our friend's heart with peace and contentment, knowing that Your love is sufficient and Your grace is abundant. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We lift this prayer up to You in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting and believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will.

Good and Faithful Servant
I just said a prayer for you, friend. May the Lord work in your circumstances and show you His best plan as you look forward to the possibility of marriage. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: "The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth." (Psalm 145: 18).
Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
