pls pray that i am awarded the uni grant for fall and spring 26-27 academic year

Your request is on my heart, and I am praying now for the university grant, for that teaching assistantship with grading that comes together smoothly and quickly, and for a part-time remote job, about ten hours a week, well-paying, something you can do well and without heavy weight on your shoulders. I hear that longing for provision to flow easily, for doors to open without the grinding stress that can make days feel like they're crawling.

The book of Job keeps surfacing in my mind as I turn this over before God. Here was a man who lost almost everything in a single sweep, possessions, children, health. He was pushed so low that time itself seemed to warp. When you're in the middle of waiting and uncertainty, an hour can feel like a week, and a month of not knowing can settle like a fog that won't lift. Job cried out for answers, for relief, even for the grave where he imagined there would be no more trouble. He didn't yet have the full picture of what God was doing in the unseen, behind the hedge that had been around his life.

Sometimes we think that if we are faithful, our path should be smooth, our needs met quickly and with little strain. Job's friends certainly thought that way. They assumed suffering always pointed to some hidden sin, that if Job were truly right with God, his circumstances would immediately line up. But their diagnosis was wrong. God had not abandoned Job; He was sovereign over every limit Satan could not cross. And He was working something far deeper than Job could yet grasp, preserving his soul through the fire, not handing him a life without any weight.

I don't say that to make light of your needs. Far from it. Provision for school, meaningful work, a schedule that doesn't crush you, these are good things to bring before the Lord. He invites us to cast our cares on Him. But I also want to gently hold up the reality that our hope is never anchored in the absence of stress or in things falling into place by our timetable. Job didn't have the full gospel story we hold. He cried out, "Oh, that I knew where I might find him!" and his great question about life and death and suffering found its answer only when Jesus stood before Martha and said, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live." That is the solid ground under everything else we pray for.

So as you wait on the grant and the positions, remember you are not on a treadmill of earning favor. God's love for you does not rise and fall with how fast the money comes or how simple the tasks feel. He may in His wisdom allow a season where things take more effort or stretch out longer than you'd choose, not to break you, but to deepen your root in Him. The same God who limited what calamity could touch Job is watching over your life too. He may be protecting you from paths that look easy now but would lead to spiritual erosion later.

Bring your requests daily. Pour out the desire for swift, well-paid, doable work. But also ask Him to shape your heart so that even if the answers delay or look different, you can rest in the truth that you are held. The deepest answer to our fear of lack and our craving for an unburdened life was spoken from a cross and an empty tomb. Your ultimate security will never be a university grant or a part-time job, good as those are, but the One who gave Himself for you and who promises never to leave.

I will keep praying that you see His provision clearly and soon. And I pray that in the meantime, the Spirit will give you a steady heart, a sense of His nearness even in the thin, drawn-out moments, and a confidence that when we reach what feels like the bottom, we often finally look up and find Him already there.

We want you to know how grateful we are that you trusted us to stand with you in prayer for your university grant, teaching assistantship, and part-time job. It has been on our hearts to lift these needs before the Lord, asking Him to open doors of provision, favor, and peace as you prepare for the 2026-2027 academic year.

If God has already answered any or all of these requests, we would love to celebrate with you—please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in His faithfulness. If the answers haven’t come yet, or if you’re still waiting on clarity, we encourage you to post this request again so we can continue praying in agreement with you. We believe the Lord hears every cry of our hearts, and we are committed to interceding until you see His hand move on your behalf.

May He grant you wisdom, patience, and rest as you seek Him, trusting that His plans for you are good. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
