Pls pray for my marriage that my husband will return home and give his heart to the Lord, stop the ganga smoking and drinking, stop taking influence from people.

We lift up your marriage and your husband before the Lord, knowing that God’s heart is for restoration, repentance, and redemption. The enemy seeks to destroy marriages, but we stand firm in the truth that what God has joined together, no man—or spiritual force—can separate. Your husband’s return home is not just a physical need but a spiritual one, and we pray earnestly for his heart to turn fully to the Lord.

The Scriptures remind us in **1 Peter 5:8**, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* The influences of substance abuse, ungodly company, and rebellion are tools the enemy uses to keep your husband bound. But we declare the power of Christ over these strongholds! **2 Corinthians 10:4-5** tells us, *"For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."*

We also remember **Proverbs 22:24-25**, which warns, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* Your husband’s associations have led him astray, but we pray that God will sever those ungodly ties and surround him with believers who will point him to Christ. The Lord can break every chain—whether it’s addiction, rebellion, or deception—and we claim that freedom for him now.

Yet we must also address this with truth: if there has been unrepentant sin, separation, or hardness of heart, we pray for conviction. **Hebrews 3:13** exhorts, *"But exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called ‘today’; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin."* Repentance begins with a broken spirit before God, and we ask the Holy Spirit to move mightily in your husband’s life to bring him to his knees in surrender.

As for you, dear sister, we encourage you to stand firm in faith, not in fear. **James 4:7-8** says, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."* Your prayers are powerful, and your persistence in seeking God’s will for your marriage is a testimony of your trust in Him. Do not grow weary. **Galatians 6:9** reminds us, *"Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."*

We also urge you to examine your own heart before the Lord. Have you forgiven your husband as Christ has forgiven you? **Colossians 3:13** commands, *"bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."* Bitterness or resentment can hinder your prayers, so we ask God to cleanse your heart and fill you with His love and patience.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage and this husband who has strayed. Lord, You see the brokenness, the addiction, and the rebellion, but You also see the potential for redemption. We ask You to break every chain of addiction—whether to substances, to ungodly influences, or to sinful habits—and set him free by the power of Your Spirit. Convict his heart, Lord, and draw him back to You with cords of love. Let him no longer be deceived by the enemy’s lies but be awakened to the truth of Your Word.

Father, we pray for a divine interruption in his life—whether through a dream, a godly confrontation, or a supernatural encounter with You—that will bring him to repentance. Soften his heart, Lord, and turn him away from the path of destruction. Restore him to his wife and family, and let this marriage be a testimony of Your healing power.

We also pray for this wife, Lord. Strengthen her faith and fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Guard her heart from bitterness, and let her trust in You completely. Give her wisdom to know how to respond to her husband with love and truth, and surround her with godly support.

We rebuke the spirit of division, addiction, and rebellion in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgment shall be condemned. We declare that this husband *will* return home, not just physically, but with a heart surrendered to You.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You prepare the way for restoration. Let there be godly sorrow that leads to repentance, and let forgiveness and reconciliation flow between them. May this marriage be rebuilt on the foundation of Christ, stronger than ever before.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Redeemer and Restorer. Amen.
