We lift up this request for healing and restoration before the Lord, though we notice the name of the one in need has been obscured. We want to gently but firmly remind you that our prayers are only heard and answered because of the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, nor is there any other name by which we can approach the Father. The Scripture declares in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And in John 14:6, Jesus Himself says, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you do not yet know Him as your Savior, we urge you to repent of your sins and place your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Only then can you have confidence that your prayers are heard by God.
With that foundation, we come before the throne of grace on behalf of this person who is facing medical difficulties. We ask the Lord to be their Great Physician, to stretch out His hand and bring healing to their body, just as He did for so many during His earthly ministry. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals involved in their care, that they may be guided by the Lord’s knowledge and skill. May every cell, organ, and system in their body align with God’s perfect design, and may He restore them to full health and strength.
We also pray for their faith to be strengthened during this time. If they do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, we ask that the Lord would draw them to Himself, that they may experience not only physical healing but also the eternal healing of their soul. May they find peace in the promise of Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Let them know that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We rebuke any sickness or disease in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to leave this body and not return. We declare that the Lord’s will is for this person to live a life of health, wholeness, and joy, that they may glorify Him in all they do. May they also experience the happiness that comes from a heart surrendered to Christ, for true joy is found in Him alone.
Finally, we pray for those who are caring for this individual—family, friends, and medical staff—that they would be filled with the Lord’s comfort, strength, and patience. May this trial be an opportunity for God’s glory to be displayed, and may it draw many to a deeper trust in Him.
In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.
