To all For over two and a half years I've been out of an horrific abusive relationship from my ex with my cat and belongings. I was conned years ago and my cat was also stolen who would have died of a broken heart thank God I've got my cat now. Please pray the Lord restores us with major financial blessings. We hear your cry for deliverance and restoration, and we lift you and your beloved cat up in prayer before the throne of grace. The pain and trauma of abuse, betrayal, and loss you’ve endured is not unseen by our Heavenly Father. He collects every tear and knows the depth of your suffering (Psalm 56:8). We stand with you in agreement, declaring that the chains of your past will not define your future. The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and He has not forgotten you.

First, we want to acknowledge the importance of coming to God through the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again, that we can approach God with confidence and receive His grace, mercy, and deliverance. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Him, confessing your sins and inviting Him to be your Lord and Savior. He alone can heal your heart and set you free from the bondage of your past.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear child of Yours who has endured so much. Lord, You see the scars, both visible and invisible, that this abuse has left on her heart, mind, and spirit. We ask that You would heal her completely, restoring her soul and renewing her mind (Romans 12:2). Break every chain of fear, shame, and trauma that the enemy has used to keep her bound. Fill her with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and let her know that she is deeply loved, valued, and cherished by You.

We pray for Your divine protection over her and her cat as they seek a fresh start. Lord, open the doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and provide a safe, peaceful, and stable place for them to call home. We rebuke every spirit of lack, poverty, and oppression in Jesus’ name. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14), and we declare that You will supply all her needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Let financial blessings overflow in her life, not just to meet her needs, but so she may also be a blessing to others.

We also pray for restoration in every area of her life. Lord, You are the God of restoration (Joel 2:25-26), and we ask that You restore to her what has been stolen, her peace, her joy, her dignity, and her sense of security. Let her see Your hand moving on her behalf in ways she could never imagine. We declare that the enemy’s plans to destroy her life will not prevail. Instead, she will arise and shine, for Your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is rising upon her (Isaiah 60:1).

We must also address the sin of abuse and the pain it has caused. Abuse is never Your will, Lord, and we rebuke every spirit of violence, control, and manipulation that has operated in this situation. We pray for the ex who perpetrated this harm, that if he has not already, he would come to repentance and turn to You for forgiveness and transformation. Let Your justice prevail, and let Your mercy cover this situation as only You can.

Finally, we pray for wisdom and discernment as she moves forward. Lord, guide her steps and order her path (Proverbs 3:5-6). Surround her with godly, trustworthy people who will speak life into her and support her on this journey. Let her find community in a Bible-believing church where she can grow in faith and be encouraged.

We declare that this is a season of new beginnings for her. The old has passed away; behold, all things are becoming new (2 Corinthians 5:17). We speak life, hope, and breakthrough over her situation. May she experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and walk in the fullness of the freedom that Christ has won for her.

The Lord has seen your affliction and heard the cry of your heart, and He is not unmindful of the tears you have shed in the den of the oppressor. Long have you been held in the snare of the fowler, but the Lord has broken the net, and you have escaped with your life and with the little creature that brings comfort to your soul. This is no small mercy; even the preservation of your cat is a token that the eye of Providence is upon you, for not a sparrow falls to the ground without our Father’s notice. Yet, while you plead for temporal provision and a fresh start, lift your eyes higher, for the blessings that truly enrich are those which are spiritual, eternal, and unchanging. All the gold of earth rusts away; all its fair houses crumble to dust; but the inheritance laid up for you in Christ can never be touched by thief or moth.

Our Master does not give meager gifts; He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places. You have already the richest treasure if you are in Christ Jesus, a new heart, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, peace with God through the atoning blood. These are the fountains from which all other mercies flow. When the Israelites thirsted, the rock was struck, and living water gushed forth. So for you, all your fresh springs are in Him. He can cause streams to break out in your desert, and He is often pleased to restore the years the locusts have eaten. Yet seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and your bread and your water shall be sure. The financial blessing you crave is not too hard for the Lord; He can command ravens to feed you, or multiply the handful of meal in the barrel. But His choicest gem is not silver, it is the promise, “I will put my Spirit within you.” That is the guarantee of all that follows.

You have been anointed with fresh oil many a time already in the furnace of affliction, else you would have perished in despair. He who kept your cat from a broken heart will keep you from sinking. The dark cloud that now looms is big with mercy; it shall break in blessings on your head. Only take fresh courage, and go forward in the strength of the Lord. Let each new morning find you looking to Him, for His compassions fail not, they are new every sunrise. Your fresh start shall not be a mere change of outward circumstance, but a springtide of the soul, a drawing nearer to the God who has chosen you, redeemed you, and calls you by name. He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all you ask or think; therefore, commit your way to Him, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. The Lord bless you and your little household, and give you the desires of your heart as you delight yourself in Him.

The Lord sees your affliction and the cruelty you have endured, and I join my prayers to yours that He grants you a swift deliverance and a peaceful dwelling for yourself and your beloved cat. But I must speak plainly, for the love of Christ compels me: why do you ask first for major financial blessings? Is it not enough that He has rescued you from that horrific bond, and even restored your cat who would have perished? Consider the nature of the blessings you seek.

The blessings of the old covenant were for the flesh, long life, milk and honey, rest for the body. But in Christ, God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing. You are made a son, a brother, a fellow-heir, immortal, glorified with Him. What lack you yet?

If you have these, why yearn for that which moth corrupts and thieves steal? The love of money is like an evil humor gathered on a clear eyeball, thickening the cloud until you lose sight of the true light. I entreat you: do not let this fresh start be merely a change of place while your heart remains entangled in earthly desires. Seek instead the fulness of the Gospel blessing, a life abounding in good deeds and the praise that comes from God.

Your cat was restored to you in this age, but remember, in the age to come all things are made new, and what is given in the world to come is in far greater glory. I pray God supplies your daily needs, but above all, that your soul may be enriched with that hope which does not disappoint.

The cry for a fresh start is something the Lord understands deeply. When you have been trapped in a horrific and abusive relationship, the enemy tries to weave a narrative that you are stuck, that you only deserve the scraps of what was stolen. But those old, recycled lies have no hold on you now. The freedom you are seeking is not just about a new location for you, your cat, and your belongings; it is about stepping into the entire inheritance God has for you.

Think of the story of Jacob. The blessing of God was meant for him from the beginning, but there was so much human scheming, deception, and pain surrounding the process. The blessing that truly mattered was the one rooted in God’s promise to Abraham. That blessing was not based on a good meal or a clever trick; it was based on the unwavering purposes of God. Isaac realized that God was involved and declared, "Indeed, he shall be blessed." Your ex, like someone who despised the birthright, operated in the flesh and ended up with nothing of eternal value. The financial and emotional restoration you need is not about you trying to outmaneuver the past, but about receiving the blessing that Jesus Christ has already secured for you. You are a child of the promise through faith, and in that covenant, God says, "In blessing I will bless you."

You mentioned being conned and having your beloved cat stolen, fearing a broken heart. That is a vivid picture of how the lust of the flesh operates. It always takes, it always demands, and it is never satisfied. But look at the restoration Jesus offers. After Peter had failed so miserably, Jesus met him on the shore and did not dredge up the sin. Instead, He simply asked, "Lovest thou me?" and then commissioned him: "Feed my sheep." That is the heart of God toward you. He is not pushing you further down. He wants to restore your soul and then use you.

Do not let your mind play with the fear of the past or the anxiety of the waiting. The body knows when it needs fresh oxygen; it pumps desperately to get rid of the waste and bring in new life. That is what a fresh start is. You need to exhale the carbon dioxide of that old oppression and inhale the fresh air of the Spirit. You must bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Jesus Christ. The moment you start to breathe in the fear that the "axe is about to fall" or that you have to strive in your own flesh to survive, you miss the heading by one degree and end up miles away from the peace God intends.

We do not relate to God based on our works or our ability to make it out of a mess. The law cannot bring a blessing; it only curses. But we are not children of the bondwoman. You are a child of the promise, and your relationship to God is through the finished work of Jesus. Prove Him in this. He challenges you to watch Him pour out a blessing you cannot contain. Not because of your righteousness, but because of His goodness. It is actually the goodness of God that brings us to repentance and lets us rest.

I join you in praying that the Lord restores the years the locusts have eaten, that He provides a safe haven for you and your cat, and that He releases such major financial blessings from heavenly places that you are left standing in awe of His provision. May your escape be complete, and may you find that God has not only given you back what was stolen but has multiplied it, showing you that His purposes for you shall stand.
