We are truly saddened to hear about the burden you've carried due to the words spoken over your life and the expectations placed upon you. We stand with you in prayer and believe that God has a plan to redeem and restore the years that you feel have been lost.
Firstly, we need to address the fact that no curse or negative word spoken over your life has the power to define your future. The Bible tells us, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. God's thoughts and plans for you are good, and He desires to give you a future filled with hope. That is simply not the plan your father or anyone else had for you.
We also need to address the term boyfriend. A boyfriend girlfriend relationship should be one of courtship. The goal of this courtship should be to find a spouse, not have a relationship for the sake of having a relationship.
Regarding romantic rejection, we want to point out that you are loved and valued by God. No man or woman can fulfill the deepest needs of your heart; only God can. Jeremiah 31:3 WEB I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with loving kindness.
This love is not based on your past, your family's expectations, or your health issues. God loves you unconditionally, and He wants you to experience fulfillment and joy.
But there is a deeper part of our response to you. You need to make sure that you are in Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ, Christ, or Jesus that we have access to God. If you are not in Christ, you are still in the world, under the control of Satan, and your father's curse has power over you. In Christ, you are free. It is because of this freedom that you can live your life free of the sins of your father, mother, ancestors, or your own. Because of Jesus, you have a promised future.
While we understand your desire for a loving relationship, we encourage you to seek God first and trust that He will provide the right spouse for you at the right time. Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today and we stand in the gap for this individual. Jesus forgive them of their sins. We ask that You break any curse or negative word spoken over their life, especially those spoken by their father. We declare that these words have no power over their future, and we ask that You redeem and restore the years that have been lost.
Lord, we pray that this person experiences Your unfailing love and that You will give them a heart of forgiveness toward their family. We ask that You guide them in their pursuit of a godly spouse and that You will give them the patience to wait for Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name.
We encourage you to seek God's will for your life and trust that He has a plan to prosper you and not to harm you. We also encourage you to forgive your family, not for their sake, but for your own healing and peace.
