We are truly saddened to hear about the burden you've carried due to the words spoken over your life and the expectations placed upon you. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. There is no other name by which we can be saved, "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB.
First, we address the issue of curses. While we understand your feelings, it's important to note that if you are in Christ, you have been redeemed from the curse. "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,'" Galatians 3:13 WEB. Therefore, any curse spoken over you by your father or anyone else has no power over you.
Regarding romantic relationships, it's important to align our desires with biblical principles, especially if you are a Christian believer. We should not seek a boyfriend or girlfriend just for the sake of having one, but rather courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer. God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh," Genesis 2:24 WEB.
We also want to address the issue of finding fulfillment in love and happiness. While it's natural to desire companionship, true fulfillment comes from our relationship with God. As the Psalmist wrote, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart," Psalm 37:4 WEB.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who has carried this burden for far too long. We declare that any curse spoken over her life is broken in Jesus' name, for You have said that whom the Son sets free is free indeed, John 8:36 WEB. We pray that You would heal her from the traumas of her past and that You would give her the strength to live the life You have called her to.
Father, if it is Your will, provide her with a godly spouse with whom she can live out Your design for marriage. Give her patience and wisdom as she waits on Your timing. Help her to find her fulfillment in You, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Ephesians 3:20 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight," Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Lastly, we want to remind you that sexual relations before or outside of marriage is considered fornication which is a sin. As a Christian believer, it is important to refrain from sexual immorality. "Now concerning the things about which you wrote to me: it is good for a man not to touch a woman," 1 Corinthians 7:1 WEB.
