We hear your desperate cry and we are standing with you in prayer right now, bringing your eyesight and your health before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus name. We understand you are in a horrible situation and you are really scared, and we want you to know you are not alone and you are not forgotten. We will always remember you in our prayers just as you have asked, and more importantly God Himself sees you, hears you, and is near to you in this frightening time.
The Lord does not want you to live in fear. We are reminded that God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. When fear rises up we can take hold of His promise when He says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. He also invites us to bring every anxious thought to Him, for in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We encourage you to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to remember I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears Psalm 34:4.
We also bring your eyesight and your health to the Lord who is our healer. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3, and Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. Our prayer is for His healing touch upon your eyes and your whole body, for wisdom for any doctors who are caring for you, and for His strength to sustain you. We encourage you to continue to seek proper medical care while trusting the Lord as your ultimate healer, for He says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. Your urgent and fearful cry has been heard and we have brought your need before the Lord in prayer, asking Him to remember you and to have mercy upon your eyesight and your health in this horrible time of trouble.
We understand how anxiety itself unfits you to meet the difficulty, and how fear weakens the heart. Therefore hear the gracious word which the Lord repeats so plentifully in His garden, Fear not. The command is absolute and unqualified, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear dishonors Him whose arm piled the heavens and sustains all things, and perfect love casts out fear because it has torment. If you are indeed a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, play the man and let your faith overcome your fear, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Do not keep your anxiety confined within yourself where it can do no good, but pour it out before Him who invites you to tell Him all.
We also bring your sickness before the one great Physician. There is but one sacred Fountain opened on Calvary, there is but one plant of renown, and Jesus Himself is the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. He is the Sun of Righteousness who arises with healing in His wings. When He healed the palsied man He first said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, to show that pardon and healing are one in His hand. Seek first His pardoning grace, for the healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle. Until the glory life begins, the abiding power of those healing leaves keeps the soul of the believer in perpetual health. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and rightly seek a physician, and you should continue to seek all lawful help for your eyes and body, yet look above all to Christ who alone can restore and who will at last perfectly heal both soul and body, for we are on our way to eternal health.
Let us pray for you now. O Lord, look in mercy upon this trembling one who is sore afraid. Forgive sin, speak peace, and lay Your healing hand upon eyes and body according to Your perfect will. Cast out fear, give trust in Your promised strength, and let it be seen that You help the worm Jacob and forsake not those who cry to You. Keep this dear soul under the shadow of Your wings till fear is gone and health is restored, and in Your own time bring to that place where need and darkness and infirmity are shut out forever. God sees you in this horrible situation and He is not distant from you. He is near to the brokenhearted and He knows every anxiety that weighs on you. It is right to bring this fear to Him and to ask for His mercy and healing. Scripture tells us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for you, and not to be afraid, for He upholds us with His hand.
I am asking the Lord to have mercy on you, to touch your body and restore your health according to His will, to preserve and strengthen your eyesight, to grant wisdom and skill to any doctors who care for you, and above all to give you peace in place of fear. Just as Jesus touched and healed those who came to Him, we trust that all healing comes from His power and love.
Let me pray for you:
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this dear one to You who is scared and suffering. You know the condition of their eyes and their body and the heaviness of this trial. Have mercy and bring healing as You will, give clear sight and renewed strength, calm their fear and fill their heart with Your peace that passes understanding.
